Yeah, this was a low point for the show and you could feel it coming from the previews.
I hope it rebounds. This show has SOOOOO much potential every week, sometimes it delivers (last week) and sometimes not (last night).

So are the female pies done and over?

Technically... No. IF a girl misses a question, and IF the punishment is "Torta," then she will be pied. And because the losers are now seated, the pieings are almost uniformly fantastic.

In reality... Basically yes. The show's producers have obviously "stacked the deck" on the show by changing the questions (from science and geography to "finish this song") to favor the women. And they've also brought in male contestants who are either encouraged or (conspiracy theory) required to miss questions every week. The show's new "stars" are a pair of brothers who have never once escaped pies since they debuted on the show 2 months back.

So the end result is that the woman almost always gets the question right, and pies the man. On rare occasions when the woman is wrong, she usually gets something worthless (like a balloon filled with flour). The last 3 shows have resulted in ONE female pieing apiece... versus 6-10 for the guys.

The women are still amazingly hot, dressed to the nines, and "willing" targets in the rare moments when they get pied. But the blatant changes have basically turned the show into the living embodiment of "WAM Blue Balls."

They tried ever so slightly to appeal to us (the crowd that wants to see a hot lady get pied) early on, showing slow motion replays of the hot reactions of the females getting pied. But on one dark day, the ladies complained behind the scenes of losing every week. So they made the questions easier, and now they can't buzz in until the host says. The ladies, being shorter, have their hands closer to the buzzer and can usually buzz in quickly. Also the addition of dumb guys, two of whom are rock stars and have all kinds of social media fan clubs. They probably also told the guys to not try as hard as they used to. These changes seemed (based on social media comments) to make the sure more popular and now they're going all in the "stupid guys" theme and the comedy route. Even if a pie is good, the show will put a "funny" cartoon graphic. It's a truly horrible show in terms of potential for us being taken away, and it ain't changing. Eventually it will go away and that could be a good thing

So is youtuber ripping the female pies from this anymore? I know you mentioned it's like 1 or none per week now.

CM's youtube page has been pretty good about uploading full episodes on their channel in full HD. You'll just have to scroll through the questions toward the end to see everything. But yes, most likely at the girls request, they are getting less and less pies. The guys had more pies after the 4th question (4), than the girls had for the whole show (3)

I dunno, I thought the three pies for the girls this week are enough evidence to suggest this show isn't *quite* dead yet.

I would guess that the women were none too pleased about being totally messed and let the producers know. (Now they all tie their hair up prior to the pie!)

However, after watching most of the episodes its very clear that the women are much more aggressive pie-ing the men then the men are pie-ing the women. The vibe that exists is that it's wrong for the men to pie the women so thoroughly but expected that the women do so to the men.

Ideally the men would be removed from the show and the pie-ing would be blondes versus brunettes. Ratings would almost certainly go up. I imagine a very large majority of viewers want to see the beautiful women dressed immaculately pied and not the goofy guys in t-shirts and jeans.

And yes, the powder filled balloon is idiotic. I imagine every person who loses hopes for the powdered balloon as it's virtual non-punishment.

I agree with you to a point. Not trying to be negative on the show (as someone already pointed out)... It's still the best thing going right now. But it was definitely "living up to potential" a few months back.

Yes, the current trend has been the women getting most questions right, and pieing the men aggressively. When the women lose, they now "happen" to get the balloon far more often, and what pies they do get are fairly weak. Was this intentional or just unfortunate coincidence? Little from column A, little from column B.....

No need to link it here (I don't see hits from a fetish forum helping our cause) but watch the show from 7-19, as that was a pretty great episode all around for female pies. One girl got "triple pied" for her birthday! They haven't done anything remotely that messy since, but an episode like that shows how good this show CAN be.

I'm not negative on the show. I accept it for what it is. It's a low budget show on a tiny television station in Brazil. They apparently created a pie-ing segment that's potentially the best ever seen on television without understanding the magnitude of what they've accomplished. It's likely they still don't understand what they've created.

I've cycled through all the episodes. At least three or four times the woman receives a five-star pie-ing and the camera person fails to capture it as she walks away (or maybe it ended up on the cutting room floor?). If the host and hostess were more capable they would've turned the lady around to get it on film (they've done this a few times but failed to do so more often). After all, what's the point of putting on a television show if you fail to capture the highlight moment?

In an early episode the woman named Sabrina can be seen in the background cleaning off from a pie-ing. But the pie-ing is not even shown. I'll have to search to locate the episode. What the heck happened? Why was this cut from the show? Clearly the producers are not wammers or these repeated instances would not occur.

This week we'll find out a lot about the shows intentions I think. Based on the preview, the men get at least the first 5 questions, so who knows how many balloons that entails. But one lady does get a potentially great pie, based off an Instagram pie pic. And maybe there is more goofing around this week since the guys are finally "winning" where the pies won't so boring like last week.

So basically, if the guys dominate, but the results are crappy, we're in trouble. I wish I had some charts and graphs on the results of this game and which team got which punishments, as it would be easy to illustrate the shows downward spiral.

If you look (in the lower left hand corner) at 11 mins and 14 secs. of this video (from April 19) you'll see the model Sabrina (in the shiny gold dress) in the background cleaning off from a monstrous pie-ing. They only show her from the back.

However, this pie-ing does not appear anywhere in the t.v. show. It was edited out for some reason. This show is often weirdly and sloppily edited in all the wrong places.

This episode aired everything, but the show didn't put every part on the website, they left off about 8 minutes worth.

I watch the show for the guys but this is the only thread and I need to vent. I share your complaints only genders reversed.

I thought at the start it was excellent for female pieings only. The guys would either turn away mid-pie, look down immediately or do some terrible pratfall (those unfunny twins), ruining the effect. But the female pieings were incredible. The guys delivered the pies with obvious relish, completely destroying them and most of the ladies took them beautifully. Best of all they were often made to speak immediately afterwards. Some of those pieings were so hot even I got off on them. And then for a few weeks they seemed to be pieing the hell out of everyone, male and female.

But then it all fell apart. More frenetic camerawork, those hideous cartoon graphics and worst of all, bad pieings. And trust me it's not just the female wam fans losing on this one.

I think they made a deal backstage not to mess each other up any more than necessary. It's like when everyone starting wearing kerchiefs on their heads on Mega Match Sensacional, but a much greater loss.

The show hit such a peak so quickly with the monstrous pie-ings that they had nowhere to go but down. The pace they were on was unsustainable. The segment took over the show. It made the rest of the show seem even more boring and lifeless than it is. Apparently they made a decision to tone down the pie-ings a bit.

Silly producers...they should have just decide to pay the players a bit more in exchange for keeping the mess factor (pieings and gungings) high...but maybe the drop in ratings will prompt them to retrace the show's arc and figure out what was working and restore it.

Hmm. I personally thought they improved the pieings by forcing the contestants to sit down. In everyone's praise for the "early episodes," we might be forgetting that there were many (MANY) times when the women either dodged a pie completely, or moved their head to just get some cream on the side, or the face was missed completely in favor of the hair.

Say what you will about the pieings now, but at least they're able to hit the face 98% of the time!

Also the fact that every Brazilian show seems to suffer a STEEP drop-off in mess for their female contestants after a certain point in time (the show Esto es Guerras is basically worthless for female scenes now) makes me think more than money is involved.
And I dunno about ratings, WJ, but the social media discussion of this show has skyrocketed since they've embraced the "pratfall" twins and the "idiot" portrayal of the men in general. If anything, the things we hate about the new direction of the show are exactly what's creating an audience in Brazil (which is actually the REAL audience of this show, not 10 Americans complaining about the lack of good WAM scenes).

The preview for this week's episode is up on their FaceBook page. Unfortunately it looks like another terrible show. Three guys are shown being pied versus no females. Two of the guys are pied very aggressively. They show one female taking a powder filled balloon and another taking a gunge filled balloon. And the gunge rolls almost entirely down her back. Worthless. Hopefully there will be at least one good female pie-ing. However, based on this preview I wouldn't count on it.

But as I mentioned, their audience has increased by drawing in the young female crowd... And they don't want to see "their girls" pied. They prefer the "idiot boys." So the show plays into that.

However, if you view the 15 second preview clip the ladies appear to be nearly perfectly clean in each scene that they're messing the men. This is not a good sign.

I agree with you that the show is catering to the young female demographic. This is probably the demographic that offers the most profits.

If you look at their very small studio audience it's comprised mostly of young women.

This demographic probably finds these guys "hot" while desiring to be as beautiful as the women.

This creates a dynamic to manipulate the show in favor of the guys being messed and the girls staying clean.

This preview and todays show will likely confirm the girls no longer want pie in their hair. Fewer pies and only in the face. Maybe Juliana doesn't care. But seeing Barbara and Sabrina get hit with balloons (Barbara dodging hers), confirms they are probably the main complainers. Barbara is on my shit list big time.

Your point is well-taken...probably true. But I have a slight problem with the idea that a female viewing audience doesn't want to see "their girls" get messy...women are notoriously jealous of each other and especially other women who are way hotter or more beautiful (or skinnier) than they are. Women do enjoy seeing haughty, vain, women get their comeuppance.

In fact, one of my female models was told me (before getting pied for the first time) "Doesn't everybody want to see the pretty girl get something thrown in her face?" her question was unsolicited by me, and it struck me then that, apart from any erotic facet, the appeal of salirophilia is universal (and gender neutral).

WJ, you have my permission to email the producers and tell them they're doing it wrong! All I know is that the comments on social media seem to think it's very funny when the guys get pied, especially the idiot twins. And the women are always "beautiful."

There was actually someone on Barbara's feed asking her why she would ever agree to get pied (which is like asking a tortoise why it goes so fast)... And then this person was gonna write the producers telling them to stop pieing the women. So... A lot of very differing opinions flying around here.

Bottom line: The show is set up in a way where their "top talent" can make demands, like "I don't want to be pied, so make my questions easier, and if I miss one, give me the balloon instead." And so far the producers acquiesce. And that's the frustration: The only good pie show in forever is getting ruined for petty reasons, but whatcha gonna do??

Today's preview suggests that tonight's episode contains only one female pie-ing. And the pie-ing looks very gentle.

This is further confirmation that there will no longer be shows containing multiple massive pie-ings of the women. Aggressive female pie-ings apparently don't appeal to their young female demographic.

Sabrina has been the repeated victim of the most monstrous pie-ings while the other women have escaped this fate. I wonder if this makes her upset that she was humiliated over and over while her teammates in comparison have been spared?

I'm surprised passa ou repassa doesn't get more attention on here, considering it is the Brazilian version of Double Dare, and often has attractive model-types, dressed at least attractively (except for the cheesy vests, but the ladies often have them unzipped because of reasons (two, to be exact )) getting clobbered with the same super-sticky pies, and sometimes, if you're lucky, sliding chest-first through the enchilada at the end of the obstacle course.

The twin brothers wrecked what could've been a fairly decent pie segment.

Both went weak with their opportunity to pie women.

However, when they lost their questions the ladies did not hesitate to completely cover and destroy them. Maddening.

In addition to the insufferable buffoonery of the twin brothers the producers wrecked a decent female pie-ing by pasting cartoon graphics over her eyes. The cartoons were not removed for at least ten seconds. Fools.


There was one very good pie-ing of a female that somehow the producers failed to ruin. (44 min. 25 sec.) Enjoy it.

As bad as all this was the worst incident was one woman whose punishment was a gunge filled balloon. In a first on the show she used her hands to hold the balloon off of her head. Then she jumped forward before the balloon was popped. The gunge just barely rolled down her back. (39 min. 50 sec.)

In past episodes this cheating and poor sportsmanship would've been met with at least a do-over. However, on the new Chega Mais the women can flail away, duck, twist and run without further messy consequence.
