Is that it might be turning me into something of a shopaholic. And I'm just dabbling in it.
Like normally I hate shopping. My fiance and I will go to TJ Maxx and I go straight to the furniture section and plop down and go on Reddit or something. My entire wardrobe is basically from Sierra.
But I've been buying some initial clothing items to try out (can probably guess what those are LOL). Getting some stuff for Round 2 tomorrow. My Amazon cart has 8 things in it and I still want more.
May need to try on some of my fiancé's dresses LOL.
I've been in the same boat for quite a long time- it takes a LOT of self control not to buy (or browse) should you make it a habit. And when you're trying to stop because you've got an overflowing wardrobe and racked up over £1000 in purchases? Yep I'm there. The thrill and excitement of a new outfit to try out is always a very strong temptation, and Amazon etc are there to pull money out your wallet so the recommendations are distracting to say the least.
I'm not telling you "don't" and I'm not telling you "do" - I'm saying it's just one hell of a rabbithole to jump down if you do enjoy it.
The one thing I will recommend is to be open and honest with your fiancé about your new hobby- you'll need to explain the extra wardrobe space anyway. And its definitely safer that trying to keep it a secret, and potentially have her find some ladies clothing that isn't hers and assuming you're having an affair.
Also ask your fiancé before trying on any of her clothes. Even if she's supportive of your new hobby, trying on her stuff is an entirely different thing that she may not appreciate. (even if its just the risk of split seams or stretched clothes).
Howdy, been crossdressing for a long time now, it is part of my everyday fashion. When you first start out you will go nuts trying out different outfits to find your style. Meaning you spend, spend, spend and accumulate a lot of items. Eventually you'll find your style, what you like and dislike.
Instead of keeping things from your partner you should ask her. Float the idea.
My style of example is fitness wear. Leggings, T-shirts jackets and hoodies. Going out I go for the biker chick look. Rubber leggings combat boots or Thigh high boots for a more edgy goth look.
Not a crossdresser, although I do enjoy being feminized from time to time and have a few PVC female costumes and boots. My headache is similar to yours though because I wear PVC, Rubber, and Leather. The one saving grace for me is the fact that I know longer wait for some special occasion to wear those clothes. I started wearing them all the time whenever I go out about 5 years ago. They only time I am ever dressed normal is when I am at work.... But even then I might be wearing some Rubber or PVC pantaloons under my clothes! . Anywho.... All of my clothing is expensive, probably three times or double the cost of buying normal clothing and that's what I wear when I get Cream Pied. I really had to learn how to clean and take care of my clothes so that they last. Real Cream Pies destroy Latex Rubber eventually...... The oil in the Pies actually melts the Rubber over time. Real Cream Pies will make Leather mold and mildew if you don't get them perfectly clean, especially if Cream Pie gets on the inside of the pants, which in my line of work is a possibility ! (A woman whom I handed one of my business cards to wanted to put a Cream Pie down my Leather pants. Of course I let her, but when she saw that I was wearing Hot Pink Rubber underpants underneath, she changed her mind and wanted to put the Pie in my Rubber underpants instead.... I still had to clean the hell out of both. 100% PVC is the most forgiving. The stuff that has a backing will mildew and stain and it doesn't last very long to begin with because it breaks down over time. Still the 100% PVC is a labor of love to clean properly, especially if you wanted to squeak and grind like it does when it's brand new. One thing I have found over the years is that people absolutely are enthralled and excited when they learn that they get to Cream Pie me in my outfits. For whatever reason 99% of them think that I'm going to change clothes and wear something like jeans and a t-shirt, and as soon as I tell them that they get to Cream Pie me in my outfit, I watch their eyes just light up and the smiles on their faces really make my day.
