In a previous poll, we asked specifically about green slime. What we asked was:
In a scene...would you rather see multiple shades of green slime OR the same shade of green slime multiple times OR if it didn't matter.
The Winner was different shades of green slime.
So! This month, we'd like to know that in a scene...if you'd rather see multiple shades of green slime OR multiple different colors of slime (which can include green).
Think any scenario, any number of models in the scene, etc.
Let us know what you voted for and why in the comments!
Tough question. My first reaction is if you're going all green, I prefer multiple shades of green. Otherwise, mixing it up is a plus.
However, after further thinking it through, using the same shade green more than once before moving on to other shades/colors is my personal preference.
I'm probably a bit weird on this but I actually prefer just the same shade of green over and over. Because in my mind slime is slime is slime. It's only one thing: this sticky chunky gooey GREEN substance. Its color is a fundamental part of its character. Changing the color of slime - even just the shade - is to change it into something else.
It's like asking what you like your banana to taste like. If it tastes like anything else other than a banana, it's not a banana anymore.

I tend to have the sort of preference.. Unless there's some gag or specific context in the scene that explains the change, I would just prefer to just see the same shade of green.
But, then again, I'm usually more partial to seeing a good build-up and one or two solid slimings, rather than multiple follow-up slimings. So I guess maybe also place me in the "not particularly helpful" category, haha.
Here's an interesting thought. I read recently that people noticed a lack of women of color in wam. Since humans come in a variety of skin tones, I wonder if the same people who have a skin tone preference are the ones with a slime color preference. Hmmmmmm. . . could the two be related?
I love to see women of different ethnic backgrounds in wam, and I love to see different slime colors. Could there be a connection here? Another hmmmmmmm . . .
Like with everything in this thing of ours, setup is everything.
More often than not I'd prefer different colors, but I'm not a fan of that vomit color they all blend into towards the end, and the same color over multiple pours reinforces the "deluge" aspect of it - if that's what the scene was going for.
So they've both got their place. Like with everything, it's all about execution.
As a producer, we always used multiple colors, starting with a contrast to the dress or top, then each follow on pour was a contrast or significantly different from the previous. My favorite slime you guys have ever used has corn syrup and would love to see that used again. Make it blue, and make a multiple girl scene, "New to Blue" where each girl wears something not blue which creates the nice contrast. Other single colors could have the name, "Clean Head to Red", but I can't think of a cool rhyme for the colors yellow or pink for interesting titles.

While not corn syrup, a popular scene we did was called 'The Rainbow.' It had The Wife getting slimed with each color of the rainbow (including indigo!) from a perfectly clean start with a variety of hair styles. And we MAY have just finished shooting a whole new rainbow with a different model of ours that I need to edit together...
I insist on multiple colors, in the correct order--green, red, blue, and yellow--along with the exact dialogue used in that original 1982 scene ("Oh, you think you're so smart? Let's see stripes!!"). Otherwise, no sale.

Sorry, us slime fans are incredibly specific.
If you told me this was a customer demand and then they didn't want to pay for a custom, I'd believe you.

A scene where it's stripes on stripes and the model is wearing a dress like this:
