Hi everyone! I'm on vacation in Florida and want to get muddy! Any idea where I can find some uncontaminated mud? All I see is sand! Hah!

North east around Jacksonville you got tons of tidal mud places private and public. you can even try clamming....its really, really, deep there.

I knew of a place around me in Tampa a few weeks back that had some great looking mud, but it is now a construction zone. I wanted to get into it, but it just didn't work out. Have fun down here!

Big Talbot Island State Park near Jacksonville. The beach has some clay-like areas and there are some trails that have a nice mud base under the marsh grass.
