Would have loved to have seen Motorhead with Lemmy. Guess I've missed out on the original STP and Velvet Revolver as well. Anthrax, Priest, and Kreator sound like good shows too.
Went to the first Farm Aid concert https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farm_Aid where many of the bands were past their prime but still cool to see (Lou Reed, X). B.B. King gave the most crowd pleasing performance unless you count the first time Sammy Hagar and Eddie Van Halen performed together at the end (which was more ominous than entertaining for many).
Watched Aerosmith perform for about 15 minutes before the singer decided to pick fights with his band mates then trip and fall face first off the stage. There was near riot when the cancellation was announced (later blamed on "the flu" lol), and the whole band went to rehab soon after making it a significant concert to see, I suppose. Ticket stubs were made exchangeable for a "Greatest Hits" LP, but ah... the memories.
Was lucky enough to see Ozzy Osbourne's band perform with Randy Rhoads before his untimely death. He had a bit of an off night shaking his head and smiling on some misses, but still a really impressive high wire act.
Other memorable tour sightings: Scorpions "Blackout", Def Leppard "High 'n' Dry", Iron Maiden "Number of the Beast" (Eddie!), Black Sabbath "Mob Rules" - that was the loudest concert I've been to and Tony Iommi might be the fastest guitarist I've ever seen. Have also seen Blue Oyster Cult and Ted Nugent several times. I think the last concert I've been to is Monster Magnet back in... 2001!? Yikes! That's a while ago, but I'm tempted to go see Mastodon this fall.
Ozzfest twice w/ Marilyn Manson, Ozzy, system of a down, linkin park, hatebreed, disturbed, slipknot and a ton of others Rob Zombie w/ Mudvayne (they were dressed like zombie furries, my dad took me and was not a fan of that one) stone temple pilots w/ the meat puppets tool pussifer alice in chains (new version) deftones SLAYER!!! w/ Marilyn Manson Santana Reel Big Fish River City Rebels Catch-22 Lacuna Coil MC Chris Flogging Molly (most violent mosh pit I have ever seen, my bf wouldn't let me go near the stage, fucking Irish bands)
And not by choice: Leonard skinnard Bruce Springsteen NRBQ
Iron Maiden, at the old Monsters of Rock in 1988 when I was a teenager. That means I also saw Kiss, Megadeth, Dave Lee Roth, Guns n Roses and Helloween. That was the time two guys died in a crush at the front. I remember Axl Rose screaming at the crowd to move back, although from what came out later I believe the damage was actually done during Dave Lee Roth's set before GnR even came on.
Freddie Mercury Tribute in 1992, so that was three-quarters of Queen plus everyone else who was there. Therefore includes the only time I ever saw David Bowie, even if it was only for the 10 minutes his guest slot lasted.
Oasis at Knebworth in 1996. To say I was lucky to be there is an understatement, as apparently 10% of the UK population tried to get tickets.
Def Leppard - Seven times to date, and there'll be two more in December.
Garbage - Three so far...
Guns n Roses - Once, on the "Use Your Illusion" tour. Watching TV coverage of the Download festival the other week, and looking at the fat middle-aged man who can barely catch his breath that Axl has turned into, I'm so glad I saw them when I did.
Alice Cooper - Finally, late last year! Well, he's 70 now and as I couldn't be sure he'll ever come back to the UK I made sure I took my chance.
Funeral for a Friend - More of a small warm-up than a proper gig, but still fun.
There are also a few others that aren't rock bands. I've seen Beth Orton and Lucy Rose, who are both British acoustic/folky singer-songwriters, about five times each. Also seen Florence and the Machine five times too. Mind you, given the energy and power of her performances, I've always thought she is rock, just without the guitars...

That is interesting. I always thought most of the enthusiasm for them was over here. Yes, as far as we were concerned Oasis pretty much ruled the world for a couple of years in the mid-1990s, but did they ever really "crack America" in the way that the Lepps did in the 1980s with Pyromania and Hysteria? I didn't think they did. (I am pretty sure that neither Blur nor Pulp did anything in America, as they were just too quirkily British.)
It's therefore a nice surprise to see you say you wish you'd seen Oasis, as I wasn't expecting you to...
I've probably seen hundreds of bands, I go to major festivals a couple of times a year and sometimes do band crewing on top. But these are the more notable acts I've seen down the years.

HAHAHA, that's hilarious.
STP WITH the Meat Puppets, wow that had to be a show. Some no namers opened when I saw them.
How is the new Alice in Chains? I haven't been paying much attention to "old bands" anymore.

I was never a big Oasis fan but, I'd have love to have seen that just to see Liam beat his brother with a chair or whatever it was and then have Noel continue the show without him.
Queen 4x with Freddie once with Paul Rodgers not the same but good, I wont go see them with Adam Lambert.
AC/DC with Bon Scott not many can say that.
The original line ups of Boston and Styx love pomp rock.
Def Leppard
Now its gets messy The Beat, Kylie x 4 love her, Simple Minds x 3 Keane Kaiser Chiefs Kiss Oasis Kasabian Rush Alice Cooper Rod Stewart Status Quo Joe Cocker Heart Joan Jett Florence and the Machine Robbie Williams.

Ha they are pretty messy like. The musics either spoken word and psych or fast guitarsa and near screaming which is what I love. I saw them at a pub in Manchester and me and my mate took too much ketamine and me and his girlfriend had to carry him out the front and get him into a taxi he could barley speak lol. So yeah all around pretty messy. Also I think the roses will eventually do another little tour when they want a bit more money again which is fine since they were great.
First concert was a family outing to see Manhattan Transfer.
In no particular order: Alice Cooper The Cure Bob Dylan w/ Willie Nelson Radiohead (Chicago, Japan, and Korea) Modest Mouse Maroon 5 (because I dragged my then gf to see Radiohead) Kings Of Convenience Slayer Harry Connick Jr. A.J. Croce James Cotton
Jameriquoi (spelling?)
Then the county fair bands like...Cheap Trick or Creedence Clearwater...Revisited.
I'm sure there are more but all I can think of right now.
