Janet�s Dunk Before Christmas
Or
A Dunking From St Nicholas
A Christmas Fable to the tune of "The Night Before Christmas"

'Twas the week after Christmas
Not a creature did creep
It was one in the morning
But I just couldn't sleep
Nestled and snug in my round water bed
Visions of dunk tanks danced in my head
In my lacy red teddy
I was tossing and turning
Never before had I had such a yearning
But 'twas the dead of winter and I was so blue
It would be months 'till my dreams of a dunking came true.

When down in the den there arose such a clatter
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter
Away down the hallway I flew like a flash
As I came to the den I could hear something splash.
It was dark in the den, not a thing could be seen
But I thought I detected the smell of chlorine
Slowly I entered and turned on the light
When my wondrous eyes did behold such a sight
For looming there large in the midst of the hall
Was a red and white dunk tank, and a man holding a ball
With a gleam in his eye that was lively and quick
I knew in a moment it must be Saint Nick

"Merry Christmas dear Janet," Santa said with a wink
"Have you been naughty or nice?"
I answered, "What do you think?"
Then I smiled and blushed, gave a look that was bawdy
And said "Tell you the truth I've been both nice and naughty"
"Well in that case" he answered, "climb up on the seat
Since you've been so honest, I'll give you a treat."
I thought for a moment, and then it all sunk_ in.
I was about to be treated to a holiday dunking.

"Oh, Santa!" I pleaded "I'll ruin my new Teddy"
"Stop your wining" laughed Santa "Come on, girl! Get ready!"
He paid no attention to my pleas of protest
For he knew that this dunking girl�s pleas were in jest
For a dunking girl's brave and a dunking girl's bold
And a dunking girl does what a dunking girl's told
And a dunking girl goes where a dunking girl's sent
So up on the dunk tank this dunking girl went
And clasping her fingers on each side of her nose
Giving a squeeze in the water she goes

As I submerged, My nose I was clasping
And when I emerged, I was coughing and gasping
Turned on by the feel of wet satin and lace
And my wet soaking hair which all covered my face.
When I climbed from the tank my Teddy was dripping
I heard Santa laugh. The old boy was trippin'.
" Santa you're naughty!" I shouted and frowned.
"My Teddy is ruined! And I almost drowned"
I stood there and pouted but was only pretending .
I was hoping the dunkings would be never ending.

Santa knew of my wish and with the blink of his eye,
He twice snapped of his fingers. I was suddenly dry.
In place of my satin red Teddy I found
I was now in a black silk and maribou gown
My hair had been carefully blow dried and set
And I knew I was ready again to get wet.
I said," Santa! You 're not going to dunk me again!"
Santa replied "Get back up, little friend."
The gleam in his eye told me he wasn't joking.
And that I was in for another great soaking.

So happily back on the seat I did go.
Closed my eyes, held my nose and awaited his throw.
Then suddenly I heard the old guy shout out, "Wait!...
I have an idea that really is great....
This dunking's too fun to keep to our selves.
So I think I'll invite all the reindeer and elves."
He then snapped his fingers and what should appear.
But ten little men and eight tiny deer.
All loyal to Santa they had answered his call.
And each one was holding a magic round ball.

So all through the night, it went on just like this.
They each threw a ball. And none of them missed.
As the deer and the elves hit the target each throw.
I went screaming and splashing to the water below.
Santa would snap, and I'd dry off but then.
I'd climb back on the seat and they'd dunk me again.
"Oh please, no more dunking!"
I begged and I pleaded.
But the elves, deer and Santa, my cries never heeded.
"Give a poor girl a break! Please don't drown me!" I uttered.
But they just laughed and cheered, as I spewed and I sputtered.
I pleaded "Don't dunk me! Don't dunk me!" and then
They proceeded to dunk me and dunk me again.
Feeling silly, embarrassed and humiliated.
Excited, delighted, and exhilarated.

As the balls hit the target and the bell it would sound.
In a sexy new outfit each time I'd go down.
Wearing silk, satin, velvet. Wearing lace and chiffon
Baby dolls, camis, panties, it went on and on.
In a floral chemise; in a blue mermaid gown,
Wet pajamas so heavy that I thought I would drown
In a red savoy robe, In a woolen mesh shawl
I splashed away, splashed away
They dunked me in all.

All my cries of protest could not hide my delight
As the dunkings continued all throughout the night
The wet lingerie next to my skin was sublime
Then I heard Santa say "This will be the last time."
I climbed up on my throne, closed my eyes, held my nose
One more time in traditional dunking girl pose
Santa wound up and threw the last ball, rang the bell
And once again into the water I fell
Then in a twinkling I came up for air
But when I broke the surface nobody was there
I lifted my sopping wet hair from my face
Looked around but there wasn't a soul in the place.

I giggled and laughed and purred like a kitten
Reading over and over the words he had written
And as I peeled out of my wet lingerie
On the roof I heard Santa take off in his sleigh
And I heard him call out as his sleigh bells were clunking
"Merry Christmas dear Janet! Hope you had a good dunking!"

Epilogue
Feeling sad that this wonderful night had now ended
And wishing my dunking could have been extended
By the milk and the cookies, I noticed a note
As I read it, I smiled at the words Santa wrote
�Of all of the Dunking Girls here on this planet,
I�ve found none half as fun as my Dunking Girl Janet
And just to make sure that you�re not feeling blue, dear
I�ve seen to it you�re going to be dunked in the New Year
In your cute puffy prom dress, In your chic yellow gown
Dressed in plaid or as Bat Girl
You�re gonna splash down
In the year Twenty-Fifteen, on day number four
Your friends on Live Dunk Tank, will dunk you some more
So cheer up sweet Janet, you�ll soon be in heaven
Sitting on the LIVE DUNK TANK this Sunday at Seven
