I know the actual scene that got me into pies and remember it like it was yesterday. I was 13 and watching the Mickey Mouse Club. It was 1978. A girl got a pie in the face for her birthday and a switch went off. I was immediately aroused. I was lucky enough to be in the pie "heyday" where in the late 70's to early 80's pies were a part of almost every sitcom. The Barbara Mandrell pie solidified my fetish as did the Three's Company pie fight.
One of the TV stations in town used to show old Our Gang shorts weekdays after school and there was one in which there's was a party or something for a bunch of women. I'm a little foggy on the details except there was one very attractive lady seen at the beginning who at one point had a cream puff land on her back (Thrown by a monkey as I recall). She turned around in shock and had another land square in her face. And that was that for me!
I was born in 1990 so I was too young for Tiswas, but by the time I was watching TV there were obviously more than a few shows following its cue. I don't want to name names due to TOS but I liked both "sitcom messes" and "messes with an audience" if that makes sense.
I like male and female WAM, but my favourite being male WAM at the hands of women has begged more than a few questions from myself over the years. I think the humiliation aspect was important, which was obviously ingrained into a lot of public WAM material. I was also bullied and abused as a child (by both males and females), and I had a thing for typically trying to keep things ordered and tidy (possibly a spectrum thing). I think WAM and humiliation collided with that to make for something naughty and secretive, with the sexual aspect also coming through my shyness with getting close to people to begin with (sex and arousal themselves seeming somewhat naughty).
This has led me to develop various other fetishes over the years, usually masochism-based ones, but WAM was my original and it differs in that it's probably the most "fun" of my interests. I think that's because it came about at a young age and the rest much later on, coinciding with me getting proper Internet in the mid-to-late 2000s and me being a jaded teenager as opposed to a more care-free child.
