Unfortunately a lot of people missed the OP's point in that thread, and yeah, some of what was said was out of order (and got nuked).

But the original intent of that thread wasn't "what don't you like in WAM", but "Unpopular opinions", so meant for people who like something most folk don't to be able to mention it. Some did get it and posted accordingly, like the person who thought pee play should be included in WAM, preferring pies to go on clothes rather than faces, and so on. Views someone might hold which are, or appear to be, at odds with what the majority of WAM fans appear to think.

This one though is "things each poster doesn't like" - though still has to stay within the rules, so "I don't like scenes where we can't see properly" is fine, but no denigrating people's looks or apperance, or assuming everyone has the same idea of what's attractive, etc.

I think most things have been covered. Also for me, when you find out a model has a pushy boyfriend who invites himself along to filming, and you see her glancing at him, looking for approval.

As a few others mentioned, weak, awkward pie hits. Producers and models do this a little too much for my tastes.
Free advice, let models wipe their hands before they deliver a pie hit otherwise you get shitty pie hits where they hold pies by the edge and slap at the other model.
A new pet peeve is "robo pieing" where a girl gets 20 pies and every one looks like the last one, no sense of style, timing or vibe. Mix it up, smear some in, make it look good, do more then the basic minimum.

"Acting."

I use that term loosely. Anything that looks artificial or scripted etc is a no-go for me. I'm much happier watching games or guys just larking around. Trying to follow a script or play a part is a turn off - mostly because the models are generally really bad at it.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but treacle/molasses is a terrible wam substance and ruins some scenes for me. It's so dark and thick you can't see the model's face/hair underneath it for ages even if they get subsequently gunged with something else.

You might as well be gunging a mannequin at that point.

Wrong model; not going to call anyone out because its just my personal preferences, but a model I personally find unattractive is a deal breaker.

Wrong substance; personally not a fan of savory or intentionally gross, thin runny slime (most UK Gunge), or crappy canned whipped cream.

Producer talking too much. Its one thing if there is banter, or there is scripted dialog. But I hate hearing whispers from off screen, "Look up," "don't wipe," etc.

Goggles. Ummm no.

Clowns. Just not a fan.

Most have been covered... but three that drive me crazy...

1) In multi girl scenes (esp pie fight scenes, but general mess too) when its marketed as a pie or food fight, but it turns out to be one girl first totally messing the other girl and then they switch roles. Or in a group scene where the girls all mess one girl at a time, then she rotates out and another girl stands in the middle as the girls mess her head to tow, and then on to the next girl ex ex. I sure that is easier to film than and actual interactive pie or messy exchange between them all, but its a huge disappointment.

2) When a producer cuts a scene in half and sells part 1 and then days/weeks later sells part 2. Just charge what you need to and let me buy the entire scene at once even if that cost more.

3) When the girls remove their clothes too fast, before the clothes are messed at all or very much. Its such a let down when they remove basically clean clothes and especially if they remove jeans or panties before they are messed and filled.

I know how hard it is to produce videos, and to try and please a wide audience. But these things are buzz kills for me.

One I forgot from earlier:

Models sitting with their legs crossed. Completely ruins the view of the lower trunk and legs. I want to see the mess flowing down between the model's legs (if in pants/trousers/shorts) or collecting in their lap (if in a dress or skirt). Crossed legs destroys all of that, and if I see someone with their legs crossed in the previews, that's a hard no-sale.

Other thing a few folk have mentioned from different angles - deceptive marketing. There ain't no such animal as too much information when it comes to WAM scenes, so write a decent description and select previews that betwen them actually let the buyer know exactly what they are getting. Yes, there is the risk if a trailer is too detailed that people will just download it, loop it, and wank to that, but TBH anyone who goes to those lengths to get free content probably isn't going to actually put their hand in their pocket and buy it anyway. The actual customers are the people who know the value of what they're getting and are willing to pay for it to support the producers, so the trick is to market *to* them, rather than *against* the freeloaders.

Someone mentioned stuff split into parts that should be all one - that's actually against the UMD ToS so if anyone sees someone doing that, use the Report links and let MM know about it.

Though there is one sutuation (and this can also apply to the "one girl gets trashed, then the next" situation too) where it is reasonable to split things, and that is where say one model completely messes up another one, while staying completely dry and clean themselves, and only later on do the tables turn and the clean one gets it. There is a subgenre "one stays clean" where people actively want to see someone get away scott free while trashing someone else. To an extent it will spoil the illusion if the second person gets their trashing in the same video. So that can be a justification for splitting it up, so people who like one-stays-clean can buy just the first part, knowing the clean person got away with it, at least in that video.

But other than that, yeah, a scene is a scene and should be sold as a single package, not split into several parts.

Rubbish costumes. I'm all about the clothed wam so always get excited when a costume shoot is advertised, and immediately disappointed when you see that the budget was five dollars. Surely if you're hiring a model, buying the mess and booking a photographer to specifically make a costumed shoot, you could make a bit of an effort!

I suspect this isn't a common complaint, most people seem to prefer nudity, so any clothing is just an inconvenience they're waiting to see removed!

As others have said, the general topic of "What don't you like?" has come up before, and it's subjective.

However, I think that in order for something to ruin a scene, it has to be unexpected. E.g. if you don't like mud then you're not going to watch a mud scene in the first place. However, if you do like mud, and then a mud scene turns out to be 15 minutes of someone standing ankle deep followed by 30 seconds of them rolling around, you're probably going to be disappointed.

I think that a lot of these problems can be avoided by effective communication. As another example, suppose that the video runtime is 15 minutes. The producer should make it clear whether that's one continuous video or the same 5 minute video shown from 3 different camera angles.

Some of my opinions seem to be echoed here, watery slime and shaving foam pies, bad camerawork etc, but here's a more controversial one (not yucking anyone's yum but maybe interesting discussion will come from it)

I would rather have eye wipes and face wipes than a model who just stays still like a statue for a whole long sliming with no wiping in between slimings/pieings either, and you forget what she looked like before the gunge. I used to be a fan of the "unrecognizable" thing, but like if you have a hot model, it's nice to get some reminders of what their face looks like before the next pieing/sliming comes. Also wish there were more realistic (or at least semi-realistic) reactions like flailing, kicking, etc just so it feels at least a bit more like real life, even if it means sacrificing a bit of coverage. That shouldn't be something I can only get from digital wam like 3D Slimer when actresses can just act like they would naturally.

What about if a woman's boyfriend got gunged right in front of her salad?

Removing socks, tights, pantyhose, or stockings way too early in the shoot..

Unpopular opinions here, but here goes.

-Having a model immediately look up and take a face full of slime. I'd rather no looking up at all, but if it has to be done, have it happen later on after you've slimed the model...and cleaning/wiping off the face is always nice as opposed to having it continuously being covered.

-Pies. The same reason I don't like looking up into slime, pies cover the face.

-When the camera moves all around...jumps from head to feet...much prefer a steady shot of the model, preferably a close up focusing on face with hair mess.

-When tons of slime is poured into clothes...I'm just sitting there thinking "That could be going over her head!"

If the camera view is so narrow and just showing the top half. If I can't see at all their feet getting messy at some point in the scene then it's a no.

SHAVING CREAM! It's dumb, it's not messy... I cover my face with it every morning and it doesn't excite me one bit.

It is like I wrote this comment. I stand by everything wholeheartedly!

1. Clothing coming off too quick. If I buy a 10 min video of a woman in a great outfit getting slimed, I don't expect nor want 6-7 mins of that vid to be her without the clothes on. If most of the vid is nude/semi-nude, why bother giving her nice clothes?

2. Related, clothes not getting messy enough. Mess poured over head only leaving most of the body and clothes clean.

3. Savoury.

Replays midway through the scene.
Whether it's a 'slow-mo' or the action from another angle, it just (for me a least) ruins the flow of the scene. Please, put the replays, alternative angles etc at the end

I mostly avoid buying any scene with nudity for this reason, because when people shoot clothed-to-nude they tend to have the mindset that the nude bit is "the main event" while the clothed part is just kind of foreplay to be got over as quickly as possible. I have precisely zero interest in nude WAM, so I'm only interested in the clothed section.

I did propose a few years back that including information on internal timings of a scene would be very useful in making purchasing decisions, just include a line something like
"Timings: Fully clothed till 8 minutes, full naked from 11 minutes."
in the text description of the scene, but the only other producer who took me up on it was Candy.


Absolutely. Many years ago someone complained about a scene not selling. I'd actually looked at the scene in question and it was obvious from the previews that the model took her dress off while major areas of it were still completely clean and dry. Which for me was a complete "no sale", I buy clothed scenes to see the model get messy clothed, if she takes clothes off which are still clean, the whole point is missed.


Even better, put them in a separate file, and likewise put the hose-down wash-off, if included, in a separate file too. That way someone looking at the scene in the UMD store can tell exactly how long each section is. This also means the producer doesn't have to compress the videos quite as much to stay under the file size limits, meaning higher quality.

Looking at a scene in the store and being able to see:

Video-01-main-messy-scene - 19 minutes
Video-02-hose-down-wash-off - 8 minutes
Video-03-slow-mo-and-replays - 5 minutes

Tells a potential puchaser far more about what they're getting than one single 32 minutes long video does.

Note: Splitting a video into sections just to get round the file size limits isn't allowed. But splitting on actual logical section breaks, like between the mess and the wash-off, is.

Leaving the head and face clean at the end. Has to be total coverage for me
Substances to runny. The thicker and stickier the better
When the model doesn't start clean and end up destroyed. I want to see before and after.
When the model is enjoying herself too much. I like to see a "ohh YUK" reaction.

I'd disagree. While lots of people missed the point of that thread, its original objective was to let people with a view which might be unpopular with most wam fans, like for example "I like a model to be wearing safety goggles", or "I prefer if they don't get any mess on their face" to speak up. Unfortunately a lot of people took it as "things I don't like" instead, which rarher derailed it. But TBH I liked the original intent.

For me, WAM scene is ruined if it contains ripping

None of these necessarily a scene for me but they do take a little away from one sometimes.

1. Camera shutter clicking in a video.
2. Director giving directions.
3. Models wearing goggles...for some I'm sure it's an attraction just not my thing.

Directors scolding their models. Also spitting; not dribbling, just outright spitting.

Bare feet.

I prefer heels to stay on throughout, right to the end, even if the model has otherwise disrobed to nude.

Shoeless office and formal scenes, especially, are right out.

I did make a recent exception for @BrattyShortcakes as, aside from her general gorgeousness, she has such adorably shapely legs even without heels
