Again I REALLY suggest you guys and girls check out the mud scenes from Paper Marriage and The Stickup you will not be disappointed.

I personally feel it's in part to both the level of commercial success Stripes got, it's exposure on TV as a direct result, and both movies were very much telling very different stories. Wrestling was the single scene in Stripes whereas Wrestling was the theme of the entire movie of Marbles so female wrestling fans are going to appreciate it more than the other. Take Stripes to a female or mixed wrestling forum and you will get quite the opposite reaction (except from those who remember and appreciate Sue Bowser) as we tend to measure messy wrestling with a much different stick.
Coverage is the other thing. They had issues shooting Marbles as they apparently had to do the scene twice so not sure if that had anything to do with the consistency of the mud being used.

I personally feel it's in part to both the level of commercial success Stripes got, it's exposure on TV as a direct result, and both movies were very much telling very different stories. I have seen both and I think I have both stored away somewhere. It's really hard to keep track of ALL the scenes that are out there but those two are definitely worth mentioning.
The Lobo scene was a long lost unicorn up until recently but to your point, the cutscenes are annoying. The Pom Pom recut many of them to remove the crowd and dialogue shits and just left the wrestling. Of course this was up until YouTube nuked his account but find him on Internet Archive. It might be there!

How come nobody has mentioned the many mud wrestling scenes from the WWF /WWE because several of those would rate higher for me than All the Marbles...also the Real People mud wrestling segment beats those listed in the poll.

Which Real People segment? The Chicago Knockers segment? I know they had a really decent oil wrestling segment featuring Queen Kong. It's been a minute since I looked at many of these so instead of listing every possible scene under the sun, I listed the obvious suspects and I put "other" so you can certainly add your recommendations.
As for the WWF/WWE, good mention! The only decent mud wrestling one I recall, however was Miss Kitty/Katt vs Ivory. Otherwise I know they did Gravy and Pudding a few times, water and other mess types. Other contenders under the pro wrestling umbrella was Miss Hancock vs Major Gunns (WCW), The Beautiful People (TNA; Velvet Sky vs Lacey Von Erich), and Miss Elizabeth (WCW) which technically never happened.

Agree the Real People segment was fantastic starring the beautiful Lillibet Stern who got out of the mud & went on to a daytime soap career.
In a similar vein, but tragically lost to time was a version of the show, Games People Play also from around the early eighties that had a great mud wrestling segment. Sunday Games was the specific episode for that one but can't find for love nor money...
Finally there is the holy grail of lost mud wrestling clips. Series 1 episode 11 of Solid Gold had four beautiful mud wrestlers wrestling to the soundtrack of Pat Benatar's hit me with your best shot.

Perhaps. I might try that but not sure what the demand for a higher rez/cleaned up version of the videos would be. Once I clean up my plate for edits, I might reach out to her and inquire and see if there is interest. I probably can't do TOO much for the very vintage stuff that is 320 but MAYBE bump it up to progressive or 640i and remove much of the noise and haloing. The magic typically happens with better source material that is shot in 420p or higher

Yeah, those are among the remaining unicorns I been keeping an eye out for but to no avail. I had a few possible leads on the Solid Gold episode however they were all ghosts. I did find this listing on Ebay. Not sure if it's real or smoke. I planned on emailing them a bit later to see if it's full episodes. I have a region free player that I can rip from.

Is the full length scene from Jabberwalk the 10min version? If so that's the one that's been floating around the net for a while. it has a lot of extra action but none of the matches in full, plus the quality is absolutely HORRIBLE. The white balance(?) or something is so high you can barely see what's happening when the real good action starts. I'd love to have some tech head attempt to clean the video up. I'd actually go on record and claim that, that mud pit (Jabberwalk) is the most perfect mud wrestling pit I've ever seen! The size was perfect, I LOVED the fact that it had ring ropes (that's a feature I'd love more producers to use) plus the mud was absolutely perfect!
