There was a thread on here talking about cheesy sound effects. The 3 Stooges were the authority on this and almost "patented" the hard pie splat.
The Stooges clip which hooked me though was the beautiful Greta Thyysen getting the huge pie/cake in the face in Whiz Kid and moaning/squealing in humiliation. How important is the girls audio reaction when getting pied?

I'm a big fan of this. Particularly when the girl is mid sentence and gets cut off with a hard pie to the face.

Lose the white pants (sorry - never been a fan of those on ANYbody) and give us a good moan and I'll be (temporarily) happy.

You know the first request will not happen (although you have hearted many of m things in the past) but that actually brings up a good point about a "good" moan. That little squeal which was in the Stooges episode and somewhat in the video to me is a squeal of humiliation versus a louder yell of protest. Which is better?

It looked and sounded good to me.

I like her frustrated reaction, the laughter of the pie thrower, and the added humiliation of the cherry clown nose. I would have liked her to have been talking or otherwise distracted before she got pied, so it would be more believably a surprise for her.

Actually that is a whole other topic. She had a banana slice placed on each eye and a strawberry on her nose for added humiliation and.... she does not speak English

I'm down for all of it, but i particularly like the kind of frustrated groan/moan of humiliation and defeat, especially if the voice is somewhat muffled by pie/cake in the mouth, etc.

I know this is all super specific, but it comes out of some key pie hits for me that i've always liked - there's a caking from "Hang Time" or one of those dumb Saturday morning shows where the girl gets caked and her angry response is thick with cake, and there's a bunch of fetish/UMD producer instances where a version of this happened.

Bottom line = squeal is nice, but more in a fun/cute way that slapstick can be, whereas a moan/groan is, as one might expect, more sensual and more toward the "riding the line between slapstick and pure sexual fetish" for me.

Bottom Bottom line = i like it when the reaction, whatever it is, is organic and natural, instead of canned (while there's something very fetish-specific triggered in an "I can't believe you just did that", let's face it -- a squeal/moan is probably a far more natural reaction you'd get in real life, than "You did NOT just do that to me..." or whatever).

That caking from Hang Time is one of my all time favorites-- she gets demolished. Doesn't get mentioned much as a classic from mainstream TV, but it is great.

I appreciate a good squeal (the "moan" just feels overly sexual and typically fake, sorry) as much as anyone. As others have mentioned, it HAS to be a natural reaction, though. So I never "coach" it with my models.

That said, Kylie has really taken to making noises after hits... Mainly squeals, but also little "ohs" and "aahs" of surprise or laughter. Here's a typical one....

Yes, if the reaction is too over-the-top, or, too obviously coached, then it's less effective (but the hit could still be great)....there's also the 'second cousin' to the 'groan'...which is a sort of deep sigh with a more muffled/subdued moan (or "ooh...")...there is a Neil video with two very cute girls (one blond, one brunette)...they're pretending to be 'country girls' ("makin' pies", or something like that)...and the bombardment commences...the blond giggles somewhat,but as the pies keep connecting on the brunette, she lets out this adorable sigh/moan ("oughh" kind of thing) that from what I could tell was completely genuine...I had to watch the scene multiple times just to hear her expression...it was one of the few vids I've seen where the reaction was so compelling and sexy...

I love the "ooh's" and "OMG's", the giggling and laughter, even the grunts of frustration after a lady has been pied many times!

If a moan is *too* orgasmic, then it sounds fake (or like a cheap porno). But a soft moan if the lady is getting turned on from it CAN be appropriate!

And, of course, with a messy BJ, the slurping, the "mmm's", etc. are really HOT!

If the moaning is fake then I'd probably mute the sound to drown it out as I'd find it quite annoying while, like some others on here, if she's moaning and gasping because she's really hating it, then that's a total turn-off and I'd just feel sorry for her.

But if the moans are ones of genuine sexual pleasure, which you do get on clips made by true wammers? Now you've got my attention!

In the Greta Thyysen clip, as in most staged pieings, the moaning is not genuine and in this case, was dubbed over the original in the editing room. But it still a favorite scene of many Stooges pie fans. Same goes for the linked clip. The squealing is part of a larger effort to make this a very humiliating pie in the face with her hands shaking. In that context, to me, it is still hot despite not being genuine

But wait, there's more....of course, we are forgetting 'blondie' from Neil's classic PFG vids...at least in her first appearance, as she gets pelted over and over again, we cna hear her sigh/moan reactions here and there...these are uncoached and appear to be genuine....she makes several come back, but, I never say the entirety of these vids, so, I don't know if her reactions were comparable, or, if they came off as genuine as the first
