Hey all! I'd love some examples of someone holding a pie and getting it pushed back in their face. Could be a lot of different scenarios.
My favorite is spoiled revenge! I love when my partner has pied me a few times and I'm just taking it, and then pick up a pie to retaliate, only for her to push it back in my face.

Deeppan's "Messy Anguish: Private Tuition" wam-fic story ends with a forced self pie. The entire series is one of my favorites, quite a bit of one sided pie domination for the boyfriend character.
It's an all time classic. The man thinks I'm finally going to get her. Only to end up with the pie in his face, humiliated and the object of her laughter.
I like the idea of a failed revenge too. Because I like the one sided concept.
When I was finally going to get revenge on The Queen after all the absurd things she put me through, I had the pie ready, but she had her crystal and power of persuasion and the only face the last pie went into was my own.
I love this gag when coupled with an established trick. Person A enters holding a cream pie. They trick Person B into a vulnerable position, and then pie Person B. Person B reacts, we all laugh at them, and they grab another pie. Person B then acts with arrogant surety trying to pull the exact same trick on Person A. Person A reverses it and pies B again.
Taking the time to set expectations and focus on reactions really makes the comedy.
