Sadly the 1974 version was better. Just imagine how many millions it cost to stage the new version, from set building to the hiring of extras -- all that money spent and there is not a single wetlook female to be seen in the pool. I have scanned this scene frame by frame and it is all guys in the pool and a few in bathing suits and not one single shot of wetlook women (you at least saw a few fleeting shots in the 1974 version). If you slow mo this you can barely see 0.5 seconds of one extra in a dress from climbing out of the pool....what a colossal waste of money to create a pool party scene with no money shots.
If only Mostwam or Eurowam had the big budget and the set that they had in this scene -- they would have done a lot more with it viz wetlook females.

I'm able to work on scene editing, then drop box the work. Script editing, & audio production. Any takers??
Sadly there will be no takers, until you can find investors and sponsors first. This community already has 300 talented wetlook producers, models, editors, cameramen and writers already, but the main thing they all lack are sponsors or investors.
A decent pool party scene needs to have a budget of a minimum of $4000 to hire all the girls and the location and camera crew etc. This is no different than the costs needed to hire a wedding videographer to film your wedding and reception party. Flaviu has produced over 40 wetlook party videos for his wetlookparty site at
These parties cost $4000+ each in production costs, talent, location and crew expense per party....and today in 2020 there are few sponsors willing to pony up 4K for a producer to create such parties. The few that do (Eurowam and Mostwam) are totally self-financed by Leon and Flaviu respectively and barely recover their costs via subsequent clip sales
I used to produce Wetlook Parties myself in the 1990's and in those days the budget needed was 3K and I was able to find 2-3 sponsors for each event willing to sponsor us, so it was achievable in the 1990's. Today in 2020 there is no appetite from wetlook sponsors or investors to spend more than $10 to buy a clip. All our sponsors disappeared once Youtube was created in 2005 and the concept of free media was born, so today 80% of wetlook fans prefer free media and will not support any of the producers, and the 20% that will support us, only want to spend $10-$20 on clips.
But don't take my word for it....start a "Go Fund Me" page like many independent filmmakers do today, and see how much you can raise for your script ideas. If you can raise 4K then all you have to do is present your script and the funding to Mostwam or Eurowam....and they will gladly produce a first rate production in 4K for you.
Just ask several Wetlook Producers how many sponsors they have on the PATREON sponsorship system.....I have one of those Patreon channels too...and no matter what you offer you cannot find any sponsors willing to sponsor you for more than $5 per month. You would need a Patreon channel with 800 x $5 sponsors to fund 1 pool party. Good luck on that....I have only found 20 sponsors on Patreon and so the only party I could produce would be a Happy Meal Party for 10 at MCDONALDS....ha ha

Great idea.. Surely there's a big enough talent pool on UMD to make our own. I would love to help script individual scenes to suit each character.
Why can't well "pool" our resources & talents and plan a group wetlook project.. Imagine that.. UMD Productions.. Our own "Masquerade Party" production.
Any takers??
Count me in on said project.. I've got a couple of ideas on staging. Need to start recruiting some participants.. maybe part of or highlight of a WAM conference ..??? ( I was intrigued by the St Valentines Day pie fight, in San Fran Cisco a few years back) This is do able..
And here I am adding a link to a Czechoslovak film (a parody of spy films) from 1967. There is one great pool scene in big style. Check it out! Time 1:13:16 (if the link was not the exact time). Second (little) wet scene in 1:16:34 Write me your opinion. https://youtu.be/kmyMb6ogo0s?t=4396
