It does happen, I've seen a few pirated videos on that site which came from here. I try and let the owners know whenever I see them. So far I've been lucky enough not to see any of mine, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time. One thing I've started doing is to put text at the bottom of each video with the address of my UMD profile - even though this wouldn't stop it being uploaded, it should at least let viewers know where it came from.
This really fucks me off .... This is exactly what happened to me and that's why I took my videos down.
You can request to have the video removed from thisvid.... once you yell the copyright issue at them they will move on it pretty quickly and remove it along with a warning to the person not to repost other people's content. You will have to show where the original video was posted... which is a simple case of sending them the link to your UMD posting. PM me if you need further info.
Unfortunately you cannot stop 'light fingered' people from borrowing and reposting your content once it's posted despite the fact that they are meant to ask your permission first.
My only advice to you is to run a watermark continually through your content and keep it constantly moving at all times to make it almost impossible for someone to blank it out without spoiling the content completely. Watermarks are very easy to add in the editing process of a video.

If you go to the FAQ section, you'll see the directions for removing a video:
Q: Someone has posted a video of me without my knowledge or consent. What should I do to taking it down immediately? A: If you believe that any of your copyrighted material is being infringed on the Website, you should send to us an notification of claimed copyright infringement. Please read this information to initiate removal procedure.
I issued close to 4000 DMCA requests over a several year period for MPV. The anti-piracy tool that UMD provides is very handy for this. Thisvid is pretty good about honoring requests in a day or two.
Dirty Job but I got to do it 20+ years. Thanks.

Alas, the reality of the Internet is that there is no way to prevent one's video material from being copied. I suggest that the best way to deal with this reality is to just accept it and modify the portion of it that you control. By that I mean, if you are concerned about being identified, wear some sort of a mask, hey, it worked for Zorro...
So, what I'm saying is that it is important for all of us to be able to share our fetish with others like ourselves so make your adjustments to how you appear in your videos and continue to share with all...
I would still be annoyed if I wore a hood and my video got pirated (and I have a couple of fun latex animal hoods, so the option is there...). It's more about credit and acknowledgement.
