My awakening was around the time I was in junior high. I was watching random movies on cable one afternoon and saw the (in)famous paddling and gunge sequence in the 1970s film "Fraternity Row."

I already knew I had an interest in paddling after seeing the paddling scene in "Dead Poets Society" a few months earlier, but that short but very memorable minute or so in "FR" made me realize I also had an interests in gunge/wam (even though I had no idea what it was called), especially when it was combined with paddling.

The first time I had a wam fetish was when I was on a camping trip with a scout group and it was raining hard that day and some of the boys in the group decided to play around in the mud clothed and then clean up in the nearby lake so I decided to join in and love the feeling of wet muddy heavy jeans, socks, sneakers, and t-shirt and the rest is history and now I do it for the enjoyment

I'll admit to not being the brightest bulb in the home improvement aisle when growing up - Catholic school will do that to you - so I didn't connect the feel I enjoyed from wet clothes and such with sexual pleasure. And of course, way back when the word "fetish" only existed in late 19th C French and British porn. But I always knew that wet/messy hair especially excited me, even as a youngster. Then in the early days of the World Wide Web, webpages started to appear devoted to pictures of guys (primarily guys) in the mud, oil, etc.

Let's just say, the rest is history.

I would get boners watching WWYD as a kid, and I thought that it must be the same for everyone else cause there was no other reason to watch that show. It was garbage.

It's hard to really say exactly where the interest in WAM came from. I was never exposed to it or any porn as a kid but this and some other kinks were just kind of there when I hit puberty.

I think what clinched it for me was discovering Splosh magazine in a shop in Soho -- not many of them stocked it, it has to be said, but one had a pretty reasonable supply of this precious title.

But earlier on I had been struck by a scene in, of all things, the Benny Hill Show, where the eponymous comedian was playing the part of a naughty schoolboy who was punished by his (inevitably, lingerie wearing) female teacher by having a jug of iced water poured down the front of his shorts. Hill rolls his eyes, but then reveals that within his shorts he has concealed a plastic funnel and a bottle, thus preserving him from feeling the chilly effect of the water.

The first time I knew I had a warm fetish. I was in my late teens and my collage had a charity event on n my girlfriend friend at the time was picked to take part in a gunge dunk tank. I can't trace it back to a specific moment of realisation. Definitely have images/hazy memories of gunge stuff on telly from being so early in life thst it must be pretty hardwired into me. With mud it's a bit of a stranger story. When I was in Primary School (around 6 or 7 maybe) I got off the bus and was walking home down a really long lane. I saw a small puddle of mud and something just took over me because my hands went straight in and I started feeling around and loved it. To try and "hide" what I did, I wiped my muddy hands on my red school jumper, walked home and made the excuse that we were doing rugby practice for PE that day (don't forget, I was 6 or 7 at the time)

Watching da bungalow and seeing boys my age get messy. And as I grew up,that love of males getting messy I just loved even more.
