So I've been into WAM since I can remember but I have never had a chance to dive deeper into it, the craving keeps getting stronger and stronger. Haha.

However, for the first time I may have the place to myself for a full day, it's not a guarantee though, bu if I play cards right it's a high possibility.

I wanted to know is there anything specific I should try first. I am into pies mostly --pies anywhere placed on the body-- the only place I'll be able to get supplies is the grocery store, so unfortunately nothing heavy like those dreamy pies from bakeries.

But in terms of how many should I try slamming into my face, types of pie fillings should I use (for my first time I want to avoid shaving cream), etc. I have to take clean up into account as well so I know I can't go overboard.

I would love any suggestions. Any video ideas, camera angles? Like I said I most likely may be able to experience my first pieing, but it depends as the week goes on.

You should be able to get 2-3 big (or 3-4 small) tubs of cool whip and 4-5 graham cracker pie crusts at the grocery store pretty easily. Defrost the cool whip overnight or at least let it sit out for a couple of hours if you're short on time so it's not frozen and super cold. Put into a bowl and whip to give it more fluffiness and to check the texture, then add to the pie crusts. You can go bigger, obviously, but that's really all you'd need to make a decent first mess that's manageable to clean up. I'd steer away from fillings or more complicated recipes this time around as you might get mixed results; simple cool whip on it's own is pretty fool proof and reliably messy!

I recommend 3 pies to the face (including a pie sandwich, perhaps?), 1 to sit in, and 1 to hit yourself in the face with when you're "finishing" It will make a good amount of mess for you to rub on your body afterwards, too.

You can and should set up your webcam, iphone, or camera to record your session, since it's just as fun to watch back as it is to enjoy the mess in the moment. Put down a drop cloth (you can even use trash bags if you're in a pinch) to make clean up quick and easy! Keep a washcloth near by to wipe your hands!

I agree with all of the things in the previous posts. Pouring pudding over the head is a personal favorite - and it's easy to prepare.
You should also do a test run before you start to make sure that the camera is aligned etc. - it's disappointing to find out after the fact that you're out of the frame. Check the batteries.
Also, try to enjoy sitting there while you're all messed up. I tend to get caught up in details and trying to get the perfect picture, when it's fantastic just to sit there and experience being messy! Good luck!

Having just gone through the same thing myself a few weeks ago, personally I would agree with the advice to keep it simple, initially anyway.

I would restrict yourself to the bathroom for the moment, the shower or bath would be ideal. I would remove any bath mats that might get splashed and make sure you have a clean bucket or large bowl to put all the bits in afterwards (foil trays, dirty clothes etc) flush any pie crusts bits down the toilet, dont risk blocking the drain. Get out a towel ready for your cleanup shower. And try and keep things uncluttered if you can, less cleanup.

I was lucky enough to have an inexpensive Panasonic video camera and mini tripod, these are great because you can pre position it and flip the screen round so it is viewable during the session. You will enjoy watching it afterwards! And you can take snaps anywhere within the video at great quality. Alternatively a smartphone in a car windscreen sucker style mount would work too.

One thing I wish I had, was a shower stool, as sitting would enhance the experience I think and as another guy above suggested.

Personally I like a bit of colour in the pies so if you want add some cheap food colouring to the base of the pie before adding the creamy stuff, and don't forget to give the pie a good twist when it's on your face! For comedy effect I like to put the foil tin or crust on my head after pieing my face..

If you do at some point decide to try shaving cream get the cheapest you can find, it is less likely to have menthol in it which will sting the eyes. I find cheap shaving foam doesn't sting unless you really rub it in hard.

While the session is for yourself, it's worth remembering that you will get a kick knowing others enjoy seeing you too and remember you only need show your face in full if you want to.

I recommend making instant pudding - feels great, especially when it gets slightly warm . The smaller boxes are the perfect size for a pre-made graham cracker crust. On top of that, put some whipped cream from a can, and maybe top with a syrup. It comes out to probably < $3/pie. I've used three, and I've used a dozen on someone!

If you're clothed, perhaps stay with light colored pudding and no syrup to prevent any stains. I've not had any problems with the exception of some bamboo fabric underwear had chocolate syrup stains.

As far as a camera: experiment and figure out the self-timer before getting messy, or you can try just recording a video in the highest quality, and getting some screen grabs for pictures (or...just upload the video!)

Couple things: Your bathroom might have a pudding smell for a bit afterward, so you might consider plastic drop cloth. It's also surprising where everything goes, so triple-check you've cleaned everything up. If you use the premade graham cracker crust, it'll break up if you try to remove it from the foil. And fold the edges of the foil all the way out so you don't accidentally cut yourself.

Most of all: don't overthink it and have fun!

Thanks everyone, I'm definitely going to take what you guys said and apply it. I know I have to be simple but it's just one of those things where I think it may be my only chance so I want to go all out. Haha.
But I know it wont be my only time.

Thanks for letting me know the camera angles and trying out beforehand. I have a new camera that records good quality so I'm planing on using that and I'm thinking about using my phone to try and get a different angle as well.
I also didn't think about using a stool, I have two stools that I can use to place the camera on and sit on as well to get some different shots. Much easier than trying to sit on the floor and trying to get a good shot.

One other note to all the great comments already given - avoid anything that might leave a lingering odor, since I suspect someone might be coming home later and might ask 'Why does the bathroom smell like chocolate syrup?' Whipped cream is one of the worst lingering smells, along with mayo. Start small, and you can work your way up to bigger (and better) things in the future.

And there's always hotels.....
