I have been around this forum since the beginning, and in that time I have gotten to know quite a few people on here. One of those that I have talked to since the early days was AW2 (or Chip, or Chris). We had become text buddies over the years. We tried to meet up in person a few times but the stars never seemed to align. He had a rough go in life but always tried to stay positive. He was also a positive voice on this board for so many years. After not hearing back from him the last couple texts, I did a bit of internet searching (I have his name and address from sending him care packages) and I'm sorry to say I came across an obituary from Sept 9th. I knew he had some health problems, but he was not at "deaths door" as far as I knew. And judging by what I found, his death was sudden and unexpected. I will miss talking to him and just didn't want to let his death go unnoticed. He along with "NormanMabeld" from here will forever be etched in my mind
