Anyone remember the famous "Sponge-worthy" episode of Seinfeld? Well, I go through similar issues with my "pie supplies".... Over the years I have stopped using PetRitz pies due to their lack of availability... And then, later, Kraft SnackPacks killed their best flavor, banana. (If you've noticed a lack of banana cream pies in recent SS volumes, that's why....)
So my new staple is butterscotch... But now the brand I use is disappearing as well. My efforts to locate it online have turned up nothing, and my stockpile is running low. SO... If you happen to come across "Jello Handi Snacks Butterscotch" pudding at your local grocery, let me know! Ideally I want to buy out some store's leftover stock before it's gone. Futile, I know, but we'll see.....
(Also, an actual website where I can order would be even better. But I've combed the web and I don't think they exist...)
No word on pricing for cases, pallets, or shipping containers.
Oh believe me... I tried. I tried.
After going through multiple websites (there's also shopyourway.com which handles Kmart and others) and being unable to "Checkout" my cart, I called a 1-800 number and talked to 3 reps before the third one basically said, "Yeah, the reason you can't checkout is because we don't have any in inventory."
In theory I *could* pick it up at a store within 50 miles of me... If they had any. I tried dropping in different stores in the state just to see, and all were Out Of Stock. Just for fun I tried stores in Atlanta and NYC. OOS too.
I'm sure there IS a Kmart somewhere in America that still has stock, but their website will never volunteer that information without a fight.
Would it be cheaper to buy dry pudding and make it? It seems pretty cheap at Aldi and I think they have banana and butterscotch; however something tells me you've already considered this, put the math to it, and found out the savings are too minimal for the effort involved.

It's about the same. $1 for 4 individual cups makes 2 good pies along with Cool Whip... $1 for a big package of dry pudding does 2 pies as well. Again, it's really just a consistency thing. This particular brand of pudding is just the right smoothness. (I also stockpiled some of their chocolate swirl, but it's not nearly as good.)
Hopefully when I switch to dry butterscotch I can get the same effect. In the case of banana, I've tried several different varieties of dry and they're all "pretty good" but none on the level of Kraft's discontinued pudding cup variety.
This is the kind of bizarre stuff literally NO ONE else cares about BTW....
Once again, the greatness of Rich cannot be overstated. I use these same butterscotch pudding cups, cool whip and graham cracker crust pies with my wife. Ironically, I saw those same pudding cups in Costco just this afternoon. Not sure if Costco is in Georgia.

That is NOT true whatsoever!! Just a quick example of butterscotch in action....
yup, puddin' pies make for great messy splatteriffic throwing pies (My Tabitha video was all pudding pies)...for sure....and one of my best hits was of Ivy getting a butterscotch pie in the face (should have seen her eyes grow wide when I first showed her that pie!)
Hey Rich, who is the sexy dark-haired gal in your current avatar photo?

Colour in pies is essential, from the yellow of custard, to the brown of chocolate, to the pink of strawberry custard, to raspberry wine colour, to blueberry and so on. Good old fashioned cool whip pies are great, but a hint of colour in them just add something magical to the pies when they are placed in the face of a gorgeous girl
