In the new German TV movie "Klara Sonntag Kleine Fische, grosse Fische" (2021), Nadja Becker, while walking on a street, is confronted by angry Sybille Schedwill, who then smashes a cake in Nadja's face.

Quark "cheese" (which is not cheese at all) is almost never put into cakes like the one in this scene.

I don't mind the outfit change or the hair pulled back.
But it's the same problem as most mainstream cake scenes.... They used a generic store bought one with lousy coverage. You really gotta "treat" the cake first and over-frost it. It's no different from using an actual pie (bad) vs. a crust filled with cream and filling (good).

The Latina soap operas inherently get this right, but other countries less so. Too bad. Maybe they can hire me as a cake consultant.

Speaking of Germany, in "Sturm der Liebe" episode 3266, Isabell Ege smashes a small pie (a cream puff) in Bettina Redlich's face. The scene is short and hard to see.
