The Psychic World concept is the creative brainchild of Fred, owner of the quicksand pits at Studio 588. At Psychic World, they hook your head up to a machine which enables you to hallucinate any fantasy you request! This script featuring the idea was written by Nessie. Fred plays an offscreen role as the Psychic World attendant, and Nessie plays Tyra, a cranky first-time Psychic World customer who has requested to relive and old memory in tandem with an extra, unspecified danger. This danger comes in the form of a bottomless sucking pit of deadly quicksand! Since it's all a dream, gratuitous skimpy wardrobe in the form of a funky beaded bikini is totally believable, and her final submersion below the quaking surface of the bog is not necessarily the end. Emerging from the peat bog leaves Tyra messy enough although peat doesn't coat quite like clay. The ending is a heart-wrenching tear-jerker, though. not only did Tyra get her danger, but the experience she re-lived was intense! Tyra is not only a quicksand story. It is drama!
