In the german audio track some more issues are descibed in a scientist view. e.g. Mabel Normand has also already 1911 done a film titeled: "Modeld in Mud"?? that has been filmed in an emtied lake that turnd out to have a nice mud on the ground. They explain that this is scene as the the first step to a thrown cream cake....
In a college film class the name "Mabel Normand" referencing this scene was the ONLY question I missed on a 20 question quiz. Isn't it ironic......doncha think?
