Would any producer with a gunge tank consider getting Nicola Stapleton in their tank to recreate her famous NHP gunging - hopefully this time with some 'after' shots?
Nice idea, and it was one of the great "lost" gungings on British TV, so it would be good to see it done properly. However, she still seems to be an active actress and I very much doubt she'd do a fetish shoot, let alone what her fee would be...
Nicola Stapleton $80,000 (with royalty options) Noel Edmonds $1,500 (with royalty options) Lucinda Cowden $800 Studio with revolving stage hire $5,000 Gunge tank hire $200 Set dressing $200 Costumes $300 Gunge and sundries $50 Volunteers who think this is a great idea $0 Presuming media and lighting equipment is already owned - depreciation factor $200 Ensuing miscellaneous court costs $800,000 (due to failure to draft proper contracts/damage to reputations)
For sale in the UMD store for $14.99 Units sold: 32 in the first 3 weeks then 1 every 3 months for the next year until sales finally peter out to zero.
Ten years later - UMD Nicola Stapleton recreation appreciation thread. Someone ought to recreate this in a modern 3D Tru-8K super retina vision video format rather than the now archaic 4K.

So you'd more than make back your costume and set dressing costs, is what you're saying.

Hmmmm. Maybe I was being a bit optimistic with those sales...

Obviously we all need to decamp to a less overtly sexual fetish - say, a "women in hats" fetish. I reckon it'd be much cheaper to persuade a well-known celebrity to put on a hat.

'Or one that involved less cleaning up', as the great Bill Shipton was often given to saying.

Lost? Have I misunderstood because it's here on You Tube?
Just to be clear, I said "lost" to mean it wasn't done properly, not that it's not on YT. It looks a very good gunging, but it's seen as a notorious missed opportunity because there's no "after" shot where she looks up and you can see her all messy. (For the record, I remember my own frustration when I watched it at the time!)

That's what I meant. Sorry for any confusion.
Ah yes I understand and I had thought you meant have meant 'lost' in a different context hence my checking! Yes they often whisked the gunge victim away without giving the viewers time to dwell!
