Some wetlook fans have, in the past, objected to swimwear pictures. I am told that wetlook should be wet clothing, or at least something which has not been designed to be getting wet in. But I think that some wet swimsuits can really hit the mark. What does anyone else think? Does swimwear qualify as genuine wetlook? I'd love to start a poll with this question, and if anyone else is interested then that will be great. Thanks, Mr W.
Yes....if they go see thru, as used to be the case with the 70's era speedos. A good example of that being the various celebrity dunkings on the old "Battle of the Network Stars" gameshow. See this example with Catherine Bach.
It's mainly down to the rules of each forum. The current description for the wetlook forum here appears to indicate that even wet nudity is allowed as wetlook, and I've seen such posted, so I'd expect wet swimsuits to be fine too. My advice would just be to clearly label the thread "swimsuit wetlook" or similar so those who object can skip over it. Other forums have stricter rules, some only count something as wetlook if it involves clothing not intended for wearing in the water.
i have always felt that wet look does mean clothes that are not meant to be getting wet in everyday life imo ,were as a swimsuit is a garment for getting wet in, some though of the full bodysuits that are around are great looking when wet .
