Indeed! Here at the halfway point, I think he might be all but sunk!
It was Forster-Storrs own words, or rather one word that swung my vote his way. In his statement he implores one single gentleman, rather than a call to all gentlemen, to support him. Did this show he already knew he was failing in his campaign, as I believe the rowing club's own cock-swain likes a good rook with a banging Bishop on the chess board ?
