Found out a week or so ago about a gay/men's campground in Arkansas (Boar's Rut - no, I'm not making this up!) that recently dug out and created a mudpit for a theme weekend (wrestling) recently, and due to overwhelming popularity (not just for wrestling, either) it is being retained/made available for a us on another weekend. There are other vids (shorts) on this same Youtube page, AND on their Facebook page. The manager requested we do it on a non-event weekend, and he offered 20-22 August. Looks to be knee deep in the center, big enough for a dozen or so, and is that southern red clay some of us (myself included) go "hog wild" wild over.

If you're not able to get to CRC next weekend, or if Arkansas is more accessible to you than Michigan, this is another option.

The manager kindly offered to have it available for us that weekend. By "us" I mean anyone who wants to indulge in the mudpit AND strictly observes the clean-up regimen. They have lots of Sorry I couldn't find any actual photos to share.

Still checking into it myself, who knows, if enough of us make it worth their trouble it could become a permanent feature.

Sorry there isn't much advance notice here, but I only just found out about the place. If that weekend doesn't work, maybe another one will, it likely stays warm enough down there well into September.....
