The folks at
nmap.org recently updated their graphical depiction of the Web's 1 million most popular sites. You can see the entire mosaic at

Of particular interest would be this region of the project . . .

The UMD is not only among the 1 million most popular Web sites, but clearly much of the list is actually less popular (as represented by smaller icons.) I thought this put things in an interesting perspective, and I thought I might as well share with the class too.
