I was thinking of making a flash game. seated in front of you would be a pristine maiden of virtue true, and to one side would be a variety of tools (shaving cream, pie, batter and so on) you could choose from to goo her up. is this something you lovely people would want to use?

just trying to feel out community interest on this one. tips/comments/admonitions welcome.

What are you thinking of? Using chunks of actual video footage or animation?

Yes, someone actually made the slot machine for the site. It was pretty damn cool.

I have had elaborate plans for interactive video for a long time, but it's going to be pretty intricate and labour intensive to say the least... it won't be anytime soon - and I really don't like Flash for a few good reasons. It will be better served doing it in HTML5 I think.

I don't mean to put the OP down... Flash is platform, a tool for the job... depending what he is planning it could be the best tool (and assuming he doesn't mind people not being able to use it on iPhones and iPads of course).

I always liked the Splat the Mat flash media. One reflective afternoon, I remember thinking that it would be even better if the model didn't become clean again before each new selection. It hit me that the math is a classic factorial. With each user decision, one possibility is eliminated. Unfortunately, that means 120 shoots for a complete set of five possibilities, assuming no repetition. Still, it might be possible on a smaller scale.

The simplest is two choices. Given custard pie and chocolate pie, whichever you use first, only one remains. Mission accomplished in two shoots.

Three choices would require six shoots. Whether you begin with cherry, custard, or chocolate; the scenario going forward from their involves two remaining pies.

Four choices has us up to twenty-four shoots by the same logic. Cream, cherry, custard or chocolate -- whatever of the four possibilities is chosen first, what follows is as there were three.

I can't think of a fifth c-type of pie, but I also can't imagine any producer or model so dedicated as to put together 120 very similar (same model, identical clothes, identical setting, same messes) but still slightly different (sequence of the messes) shoots for a single project. On the other hand, 24 seems like an ambitious but not unreasonable goal, and 6 should be attainable by an organized operation. Woven together in an interactive flash format, the result could be a splatthemat-style experience in which the model continues to get more filthy from start to finish at every juncture the user chooses from the remaining messes.

Even the three-choice version would entail a great deal of work. However, it could be the perfect "front door" for a major producer or affiliated group of Web sites. As with splatthemat, it is the sort of thing someone might play around with and enjoy without dwelling on the fetish aspect. (Alternatively, it could be a deliberately kinky scenario with the model flirting and begging for more during pauses or even sensually inflicting the mess on herself . . . oh, and the possibilities for a duo. *ponder*) It would take a lot of mess, a lot of recording, a lot of cleanup, and a lot of editing. I imagine if done well though, it could also be a lot of fun for a lot of people.

i had been leaning towards creating a character and animating it in flash (either comic book style or maybe a shopped photo) to allow for greater complexity in the interplay of goo you splatter, and the possibility of smearing... at the sacrifice of realism.

as for flash vs html5, i know AS2/3. i suppose i could make this my inaugural project to learn html5... or would it just have to be in java? i havent really seen any examples of something like what ive described above rendered in html5, though from what i understand of it the video method covered in glorious detail by messydom would be well-suited to it.
