Dana in: “No Ifs Ands Or Pie Butts” – The Back Story and previously unposted pictures.
This was a custom we did and of course with all customs it has a WLP spin.
This was another shoot where Dana asked for a full “pie soaking” (A term I’ve
always found enjoyable) So of course we added a little extra. I don’t usually like
“overdoing” it as after about 10 pies or so the model starts to look like the StaypuffMarshmallow Man…..and I’m still having problems with that from “Ghostbusters”
However I do like when Dana calls me a Pie God………………but I digress.
Had a lot of fun shooting this one because Dana is such a goofball. Some of the outtakes would have been fun to include if I hadn’t scrunched the original recording under a 300 pound desk. Fortunately, I had already imported the “important” stuff,
Dana REALLY REALLY wanted the chocolate at the end to have even more coverage than you see here. She actually wanted us to go out and get one of those plastic garbage cans and fill it up with chocolate pudding to dump on her. But, all I kept imagining was a torn rotator cuff from stirring all of it or a hernia from trying to lift it. She STILL wants to do that…..oh well….maybe this summer. I think we figured it out it would take something like 143 boxes of pudding/cake mix to fill one of those suckers. (I’m sure Shaving Cream Guy is doing the math even as we speak)
Dana also loved how green slime did the cleavage thing. (I’m sure she’s not alone in that joy). And one of those green slime pictures actually ended up in a modeling catalog somewhere under some weird circumstance.
The other thing I remember about this shoot was that we had spent most of the early evening doing tequila shots and listening to really bad 70’s tunes. (I know..”bad 70’s tunes" is a redundancy)
