Any chance you can make thumbnails wider for screen caps in widescreen?


Would be a nice bit of polish.

They are all 16:9 right now. It's widescreen in a sense, but not the really wide screen you might see in the cinema (2.39:1?).

I didn't go "full" widescreen because those thumbnails have to also support regular pictures, if the producer is selling zip files, as well as movies with other aspect ratios. I figured this shape was a good compromise, and I wanted all thumbs to be consistently-sized throughout the stores, so I went with the 16:9 for everything.

What I will do is change it so that it vertically centers before cropping. That will at least give it consistent black bars at the top and bottom. I'll get on that tonight.

You mean the main thumbnails that's shown on the thread listing? I do have plans to do that. It's on my To Do list.....
