Thanks to everyone who responded to my previous post. I'am new to film and using cameras in general.
I'am now keen to do my first shot but have two promblems. I don't know how to go about looking for a model to take part. how do websites recruit females to take part? How much in general do they charge? Would they be willing to split it 50/50 with sales with upfront cleaning, travel costs.Looking for overhead gungings.
The other slightly less critical promblem is if I film in the bathroom what would be the best thing to do to reduce the light glare through the window if this is a promblem. Would it be better in a darker room or invest in something for lighting. Would also need advice about light equipment. small budget so something that would make a worth while improvement but at lower cost spectrum.
One last thing if filming out doors any tips if Sun in inconvient place and can't do shot else where.
if any women or female models intrested. life in South West Scotland. Is there anywhere ok to advertise post in a forum looking for female's to take part on UMD as don't know if many would look here.
Any advice much appreciated.

Regarding lighting and light control, there is a vast tome of literature on that subject, and web pages (and even web sites) dedicated to it. Find a book on basic lighting, or check websites dedicated to independent video production, etc. We've also discussed lighting here, but not in the detail you'll find elsewhere.

I've not had the best luck finding models, but you can check places like onemodelplace.com and modelmayhem.com. You can run an ad on Craigslist. You might be able to solicit on fetlife.com ... not sure about that one. Finding enthusiastic WAM models is no easy feat, in my experience.

You should be upfront with your model about how they will get paid. I don't think a profit sharing arrangement would be fair to the model unless you have an established track record and a trusted 3rd party to keep records. You should scrape together the money to pay your model the first time, in my opinion. You might find a model to do it pretty cheaply, if she enjoys it and you don't expect her to get naked, or perform sex acts for your camera.
