Hi! I've got an idea to paint a girl head to toe with golden paint. But: I don't want to use any of water/oil based stuff that comes off easily, even with just water. My idea is to paint a model, that she could wear the paint for week or even longer, doing her ordinary things without destroying the painting - sleeping, washing, having sex whatever.
Any idea what substance should be used - permanent and safe?
I wouldn't recommend attempting something like this. The skin is the largest organ in the human body and it regulates body temperature via perspiration. If you block the entire surface for more than a few hours with a completely nonporous covering, it creates a potential health risk from overheating. Also, pigments in an oil or solvent base can be absorbed thru the skin. Quite a few pigments are poisonous carcinogenic. Gold is inert, but I doubt if the paint pigment is actual pure gold.

Girl is oiled prior to painting, to make washing off easier afterwards. But what if the oil wasn't used? In the text it is said that without oil washing the paint would take a long time. Maybe it is the key?

Thats goldfingers paint.
I have that, tried a bit and comes of just as easily as oiled before.
Its olive oil based, and it says it somes of easier than without. If you rinse with something that breaks down oil, its gone in a minute or so.

Another question, why wiuld you want to do that to someone, and i highly doubt if it wasnt hazardous if there was someone who wanted to be painted a whole week...
The closest you'll get to unwashable without straying into toxic territory is a coating of prosaide medical adhesive with metallic powder dusted over the top. Regular liquid latex will come loose with minor sweating. Hm, I see that there's such a thing as a metallic Sharpie marker. They're flagged as non-toxic, but would take freaking forever to apply.
