My goodness, that takes me back! I remember when the chat was Multicity's chat, and had those horrible flashing banners.

I did it for GungeGirls.com - I don't recommend it. Comic fucking Sans. Seriously. I used Comic fucking Sans!

i just finished making my site and its a world away from the block designs with all flash interfaces and shiney pages and not a standard font in site its amazing how far the internet and web designs have come in 20 years

Old homepages 1 through 6, plus a screenshot of the old forum. I don't think I have the *real* first homepage, as that was just text links.

It brings to mind some older stuff, like the IRC channels and WAMSat. Funny. I can't find wamsat on the archive for some reason.

Ahhh those were the days. I can't have been coming here 12 years now, this site has been a huge part of my life and has indeed change my life completely. I have been with my girl friend for over five years now who i met here on umd. These forums was also the foundation for the London Meets which is now in it's seventh year.

A huge thanks to messmaster, shortcake and the gang for keeping this site going.

Fourms with out pics and 56k dial up, but we still managed to keep it messy!

I'm sure you used to have a link on one of the menus that said something like "Old UMDs" and had a bunch of pics, including the original text links one, so possibly you still have that image around somewhere?

It was on the FAQ page. I got rid of that page some time ago. I thought it was too, um... self-aggrandizing, for lack of a better term.

Just makes me miss Brian Grove and Crazygirls that much more...

SpecialT especially because the picture under the "features" menu in the first screenshot is from the old Crazygirls Charlie/Bobbi schoolgirl spaghetti set. By the time I finally paid up and joined crazygirlsarchive.com, that set wasn't on there, and the rest of it was gone. Oh what I wouldn't give to get that full set, plus the Jenny Shower set where she's in the thin bathrobe... I only have the three preview pics from each set and I treasure them.

There's actually a user on here who married Charlie from Crazygirls (user "Mr. CG" -- see his post of 2010-09-18 here: http://umd.net/forums/classic_crazygirls ).

I only use Papyrus for subtitles.

To this day, when I think of the UMD, I see this version in my head.



There was something about that "What's new" section that made it so much easier to keep track of new material.

Now I don't even look at the front page at all, I go straight to the forums.

Not sure when that changed. But I haven't found a use for the frontpage in years.
