Thought I'd add this to the site. Pontificate, opine, and express your wam views. Pull out your soapbox and let us hear it! Or use it to add or write your collection of stories.

Just go to your profile and you'll see a new "Blogs & Stories" link on the left which links to all your writings. There is an "add" link next to it to add new ones.

Everybody's blogs will be listed together at http://umd.net/blogs which is also linked in the Community pulldown menu. I already primed the pump with a few items of my own.

I'm open to suggestions and hope you enjoy.

Hey Derek, thanks for all the work you keep putting into the site! I have no words at this time, but will be availing myself of the download store when mud season returns in the late spring. Keep up all of the great work.

Oh, one tiny bug! The smiley doesn't work. When you click on it, it won't go into the message.

I never imagined a "Blogs & Stories" addition to UMD and at this time I am shocked right out of ideas. When I get over it, though...I have been in a lot of mudpits...maybe some of them are worth writing about!

Yeah I'm sure you have some very interesting stuf to write about your experiences. I know I have a couple haha It was originally going to just be blogs, but I said oh what the hell it might as be stories too--it's the same format...

That's a great feature. I've seen similar things on fetlife and it's nice to see them here too.

I'm always looking for ideas to add to UMD--things to do other than just hit the forums then bounce somewhere else. If you have any other suggestions, please hit me up!

Is there some thing wrong with the blogs? When ever O click on on to read it all I get is a blank page.

Is this the link that you are taken to when you go to read them all?

No that is not it. I seems to take me to the page of what ever blog I click, but once on the page all I see is a white page with about 8 buttons.

Yeah, I believe we have us a BlogBug. Acting very strange and not the same for all visitors. Heres what i'm getting:
Wrote part of a story. Published it and logged out to see what the results were. Looked ok, so logged back in, went to edit story/add more text, no good. Says i have timed out and can no longer edit. Tried to delete it.. no good. Timed out.

So, decided to type and then ccp my story from a notepad into a NEW story.
Did so and it seemed to work better that way. I finished and published it. But also strange: When i went to review it, sometimes it brings up the old story i had left for dead. Then the next time it will show my rewrite/full story page. Plus.. the old story is now just sitting there...from my profile.. dead and useless.

I imagine it will take a while to clear everything up and squash any remaining bugs. Good luck to those in the trenches! Were pulling for ya!

I just discovered that I am able to load the blogs fine if I am not logged in, but as soon as I log in I get the screen that I posted before. Is any one else having this problem?

I'm getting the same problem. I did wonder if it might be google chrome's fault.

Does any one no if they are going to get to the bottom of the problems it seem quite a few people are having with the blogs? It is realy frustrating only being able to read them in guest you can not read them all. So please can some one look into the problems that lot's of people are having!

I shall make all efforts to harass MM into rectifying the problem... as well as a couple of other issues, too. Sorry for the inconvenience.
