Is anybody else having trouble FTPing their videos? I've tried everything I can think of and I keep getting a message that my file is corrupt or too short.
I've watched it, re-edited, re-sized ... Basically done everything I can think of and -- though it plays fine on my end -- I keep getting the same message when I try to upload.
Hi all, yes I had the same problem a couple of days ago. I thought my encoding program corrupted it, so I am currently encoding again with a different encoder, have not tried yet to upload again.
I had success, too, and would like to echo thanks to MM.
However, my luck has clearly run out...
While I was able to get my first file uploaded, I'm trying to upload new stuff today and I'm having trouble with the site saying I need to update my FTP permission settings to 777.
To my knowledge, all my previous uploads were in 644.
But I changed the upload settings and re-uploaded with 777 permissions... and still got the same error about how it needed to be in 777. Which it is.
There was an issue with us handling spaces in the filenames. These types of files were throwing false errors, telling you they were corrupt. UMD is now back to being able to rename the files and "normalize" them for our system's use. We also had a permissions issue on some users' folders, which are now resolved.
