pie_chap said: I think having a cut-off date for threads is a great idea in principle. My quibble would be that the current limit (3 weeks as far as I can tell - please correct me if I'm wrong Messmaster) is a little too short. While it's rarely the end of the world if one or two users can't post on a particular topic, I think somthing like 6 weeks might be better.
That's my point Terry Thomas. 3 weeks is way too short.
And to wtfdownloads...just because I'm not on here as often as you obviously are (15402 friends, really? Move out of your parent's basement and get a life dude) doesn't mean I don't have a right to reply and reply in a manner I think is appropriate (especially if it's within the rules of decorum on this forum). Since when were you appointed the 'reply content police'? Maybe you can find a wikipedia source for that. And trust me you don't want to head down that slippery slope, well unless maddy is waiting with her legs wide open.
Someone wrote earlier that people were getting way too uptight with their responses to part time posters like me (and pal, you are a shining example of this self righteous, self appointed attitude).
I would have replied to that thread too but it's over 3 weeks old.
