I'm sure you all "mean well"... or you're just trying to "show support"... but guess what? If you post a msg on a model's Facebook wall... or a "Tag" on her MM page... saying, "I know you! You're the girl who got pied in those videos!" Or "Man you look hot covered in pie!!".... You are NOT endearing yourself to this person. (Perhaps the instant deletion of your tags... and your profile... tipped her off.)

In fact, you are almost definitely FREAKING HER OUT.

I thought this went without saying, but apparently I have to say it: A model's Facebook page... or model profile page... is her BUSINESS. Posting pervy comments on there affects her business NEGATIVELY. As for the Facebook page, think of it this way: Would any of you like someone from the UMD to post something on YOUR personal page for your wife/GF/friends/co-workers to see?

So... I've asked all my models to forward all future pervy messages/comments/etc to me... rather than just delete them... so I can deal with them personally. And if you see models suddenly listed under different (i.e. fake) names... now you know why. (And yes, that's partly my fault... The UMD is an X-rated adult forum with some users of questionable judgment, and I was probably foolish to assume I could use a model's real name without her being harassed.)

If I sound angry/frustrated/ready to quit the UMD, that's probably because I am. Sorry... The vast majority of you are cool, but there's a few of you who exhibit absolutely NO sense and, unfortunately, you wind up ruining things for everyone.

I love the UMD, I really do. I visit just about every day and not necessarily to find new videos.

But I'm starting to wonder if there's something mentally/socially disturbed about some of you. Whether it's on youtube, facebook, or this very forum it's like a number of the members just don't know how to interact with women. Every time a new female member shows up, they're bombarded with demands for pics. Every youtube video of a pie-in-the-face fundraiser is spammed with comments of "constructive criticism.". Do you really need to be lectured every month about how some of the women you see might not want to talk about WAM 24/7? I'm seriously starting to get embarrassed for some of you guys.

Good for you! I realize that there are some people already taking active steps in that direction (esp. the mods here) but it's good to add more muscle to the problem.

Unfortunately, I think a part of the issue here comes directly from the fact that we are a fetish community. To an extent, we are going to attract an element who is so consumed by their sexuality that they've lost all touch of normal human interaction.

Also, there are a few people who are intentionally being pervy just to be assholes.

You know what's so bad about this...it should be common sense. If it's a public page, and she models on the side, she has coworkers/family/whatever. Why would you post something for everyone to see? If she wants to let people know what's going on, she'll say something. Stupid people just piss me off.

i've actually gone after a few of the idiots on youtube telling ever so politely to chill out. but they don't get it. How much of a freak are you to post shit like that or go on a models facebook or myspace and post stuff like that....

My best guess would be, in most of those cases, those unhappy campers have FAR deeper and darker issues than a mere sexual fetish interest or two... The concepts of "tact" and "discretion" are being seen more and more as obsolete; so do we think that such behaviors are suddenly going to appear out of nowhere from people who have been raised to believe that only THEIR needs, feelings, and desires matter, and fulfilling them NOW is more important than whomever gets hurt along the way?

I'm sure as hell NOT defending these idiots or their actions; just sayin' that it doesn't really surprise me all that much, either...

1. If one of my girls is nice enough to add you as friend that does not mean she wants to be bombarded with messages from you day in day out... its creepy and annoying and NO, SHE DOES NOT

2. If I post a pic of them I NEVER tag them you would think that would be a clue, but some idiot somewhere will still repost, and tag her!

3. If you find her details under a different name and her family, friends and in one case kids, are on it too - please engage brain and DO NOT start posting comments on her profile telling them how hot she was in the latest X rated vid of theirs you saw.

4 It is NOT helpful when you find a pic from said vid and post it on her wall (tagging it to make sure) for everyone to see.

I think producers, if you have the opportunity, should also caution your models to be careful about what personal info they post on their MM / OMP pages, or social networking sites.

A while back, I looked up the MM page of one very popular wam model (who's worked with multiple producers), and noticed that her exact DOB and city of residence were on there. As someone who uses online tools to track people down professionally, I saw that as a red flag, because it was probably enough info to find that model's address & phone number very quickly, even if her "model name" was not her real name.

My point being, sadly, that if cyberstalking has become a problem for fetish models, then sooner or later it will escalate to actual stalking.

Whilst we all greatly appreciate what goes on here with all the hard work behind the scenes, I feel it necessary to say that, if you want to see how it could be, go and look at how Bill and Hayley do it on the Splosh forum - a totally (and I mean totally!) different attitude - almost invariably friendly, respectful to models and members who may have other kinks that don't fit the norms of society too (e.g. cross-dressers), good-natured and well-behaved, yet often very funny too. Why *is* it so different here?

You would think commen sense would come into play here. If you post to different life styles on public pages,boards,fourms etc, you cant be silly enough to think they wont ever come together. Not saying its right for others to merge the two, but come on, be real, you know sooner or later it will happen!!! There are all kinds of people in this world as we all know, so when you go out in public places or cyber land, you get all of them!!!!!!!!!! Not just the perfect ones or just the ones we want to see us and or comment on us. This is mainly the reason models on my site go under stage or fake names, sometimes with no names at all! Call them whatever you want! Who cares what their real names are. It only helps them out in the long run. I barely ever use Facebook and do not have a MM account since I've always used OMP.

Why do you think the new 'messy brunette' has no name? I was literally in contact with her days before I released her first scene. She discovered that someone had posted pictures of her online in a pink thong she wore in our first shoot together. It was less than flattering to her employer, who immediately demanded she seek legal advice to have the pictures removed. Last week she (politely) asked me not to release any compromising images and video footage of her revealing assets in the thong. Thanks a lot to whoever posted those pink thong pictures of her, now I can't release them to the rest of the good buying market.

I understand how you feel and that sucks, but like I said thats the risk a person takes when they go public, just think if an ex boyfriend or pissed ex or friend or coworker got thier hands on them, they could make a persons life hell! We all have seen where some creep has gotten a pix of an ex and made copys and dumped them all over the place. I am not trying to scare people off, but you have to think about what you do, and all the things that could happen as a result. A person does share some of the responsablity in things that happen in thier life.

Man oh man, I have such little tolerance for the people that do this crap. They give everybody on here(producers especially) a bad name, and now it's getting to the point where, in some cases(as Anglefan said) material can't be released or, in Rich's case, where they get frustrated enough to potentially wanna leave. I agree that the people who do this probably have some other major issues going on other than just a simple wam fetish, but what these pervs need to realize is this...eventually if it gets bad enough, some of the producers might not be able to hire models to do this at all...which means no new material, which would suck, but it would be a necessary consequence.

Rich, we all support you here and respect any decision you make, if it means that you have to leave, then unfortunately we have lost a good friend and one heck of a wam producer, but if that's what best then so be it. I can certainly understand your frustration.

Had we started in the days of Facebook, we would have made all our girls use fake names, but we started before the facebook revolution.

The people that do this are usually using fake names like messyman or Ilovepies or other assumed identities for their facebook activities, I can 100% state that in most cases these people have seperate facebook profiles for their own names and friends, that they would be horrified to have assoceated with WAM.

Spolshman, love you dude, but since people in our group have added you as a friend, some of your friends have been contacting our girls.

We are also asking that all girls who are contacted by idiots through facebook, forward all messages to me.

Hellfire, I'M using a fake name on here, so I would hope that all models do the same as a matter of course. (Why I am using a fake name? I have a few things in a few media fires, nothing enough to be known yet, but when I do finally get that BAFTA nomination in a few years, I'd rather not have it be exposed that this is part of my recreational enjoyment!)

That said, I've worked with a few actresses in short films, and believe me, this is not an exclusive problem to WAM. Any information about anybody on the net, even if it's only a name, will in this day and age lead to something like this. Some delusional sees a video and thinks that that girl would just love to be his new best friend, and bingo, one facebook search later, you have harassment.

I understand the temptations, but hey, just because I follow Eliza Dushku on twitter does not mean she wants to know all about me and I have the right to expect her to reply in kind. Sadly, some people's brains have a logic and civility bypass and some of them share our fetish. Basic precautions (fake names and the like) are all you can take, but taken they should be.

I also hope if I ever chanced upon a model from any of my fave sites, I'd just smile politely, say love your work, and move on. (Though if I chanced running into Fi Stevens the headline would read "MAN DIES INSTANTLY OF HAPPINESS")
