There was a snowstorm in Massachusetts this past January?
I don't remember there being ANY snow in the Northeast US last winter.
I must be out of it.

I have always assumed the weather in NJ and MA is pretty much the same,

It wasn't necessarily the weather that was the problem (although it certainly didn't make it any easier), it was the models and their bodygaurds/husbands/boyfriends. The situation was ridiculous and what happened was totally unnecessary.

I had the pleasure of working with one model who thought what I'm doing is degrading and deplorable to women and I should be ashamed of myself. Then she wanted compensation for nearly $1000 worth of clothing (she said her $10,000 diamond earrings were being cleaned) that ONE shaving foam pie supposedly ruined. Yeah, right.

She told me that I assaulted her with the pie when she clearly knew what the shoot was all about beforehand. The second girl (the one in the most scenes) said she had nightmares the night after viewing my download store and her husband was upset about it too.

I guess the one good thing about that night was that my (brother's) car's license plate was covered up in the 2+ feet of snow that gently blanketed the area that night.

I am so sorry for the trouble they caused you.

I have to play "objective interrogator" here and ask you:
you had been at this WAM videoshooting for so long before this incident,
hadn't you told them quite firmly

"Here's what you and I agree to before the shoot, and why.

I insist you look at my download store, and here.. watch this sample video I am sending you.. before you agree to do a shoot for me.. and why.

You will not wear your own clothes in the shoot. You will have to wear
whatever clothes I have gotten by donation or from Goodwill.. and why." ?

Unless there is more you don't want to tell us, I infer from your report that this model did not seriously pursue her threat of charging you $1000 for "ruining" her clothes with shaving cream. I hope she didn't.

It only takes one nightmare incident before you learn to CYA. I've been shooting fetish work for years and had a very similar experience a few years back - model came back at me stating she didn't realize exactly what we were doing and after seeing the video for sale online wanted compensation for emotional distress. Of course, she was just after money.

Now a detailed contract is signed and the models must watch footage from previous shoots, sign that she did see previous footage and agrees to blah blah blah.

I also tell the girls once it's up for sale it's up for sale. Period. Get married? Get a new boyfriend? It's not coming down. Sign here.

I had another issue with a different model. She was fine for almost 2 years. Then gets married and her husband wants it all yanked AND the husband said she should get a percentage of the sales.

There's models who "kinda" want to do fetish work and there's models who are happy to do it - could care less. I stopped working with the "kinda want to do it" models a long time ago.

In fact, two of my models now all but run my productions - they recruit new girls, set up the shoots, etc...THOSE are the kind of girls you want.

Oh, and FYI, I provide all the outfits for shoots. I've also been hit with "my outfit's ruined."

I love threads like this almost as much as I enjoy a good outrage/flame war.
