I have to ctrl-alt-delete to close the page when the pop up script error appears. Tends to happen when I am on a members profile page with a download store and wanting to use the links from the Forum drop down menu

I looked it up and found this. The person said it didn't work for them, but perhaps it would for you?

Go to IE -Tools -Internet Options - Advanced

Uncheck: Enable third-party browser extensions
[requires restart]

Can you see if that has any effect, if you haven't tried it already?
