I am trying to recall the Messy Fun tapes that have paint sets in them. My cider soaked brain has let me down again. There are a couple I remember, one with Shaun using green and yellow paint and another where the model was sat in a chair having multi coloured paint poured over her, I think she was was waring a leather jacket.
I can't find the clips on the their site, any help to find them would be appreciated. I would love to download them.
I'm with you on that one. I remember when I first sent off for his catalog, I think he was only up to volume 7 or 8 at the time. Part of me wishes I had gotten them all on VHS at the time. "Amanda Explains It All" was the title of the most recent release at the time.
These photos were from the video "MF1 - My Friend Shaun". As the number implies, it was one of, if not the first, Messyfun video.
The other one you're thinking of is from the video "MFV10 - Amanda Explains it All". Kassandra was the model being painted by Nadia, sort of at Tuesday's request. All 3 end up in a paint fight.
I don't remember which other videos might contain paint, as that's usually not my thing. I just happened to remember those two. Here is a pick from MFV10 (on of my favorites of Rob's vids)

Been years since seen that pic as remember getting it off some yahoo group but lost when had wipe my hard drive. Anyone got a bigger version of it?
I still have several of these images from a MessyFun site membership I had many years ago (probably circa 2004??). However, all of them are still the copyright of MessyFun, so unless Brittany, the current owner, gives me permission, I'm not allowed to post any of these.
I think when I came on the scene MessyFun MFV11 was *just* about to be released, which would have made it very early 1997. By that point Rob Blaine already had ten epic messy videos for sale. Whew.
I never saw the paint ones as I am more of a mud fan of his work. Some one needs to get a hold of these classic tapes and make some restored dvds of Rob's fantastic work. (as I was too young at the time these tapes were avalible)
Wow, those bring back memories. *Checks hard drive* Yep, those two are the oldest pics I have in my collection. Somehow they're dated 1996, but that can't be right (tell me it's not right!)
They were posted somewhere, abefwam maybe, because I didn't pay for a site for a long time, and I didn't pirate.
My tastes have changed over the past couple years, but those shots and some of the other early ones will always be nostalgic to me.
I still have some old Messy News catalogs, I'll see if I can dig them up and look for the paint clips/sets.
RIP Rob, and thanks for letting me know I wasn't alone.
I recall Pie Wedgies, the best pie fight scene from a WAM producer I have seen. (Most to my likeing) as it was pretty much (starting out anyway) a traditional pie fight. Is that available on DL I wonder. Hmmm. That might be the only messy scene I ever buy TWICE! Once on VHS once in MP4 DL.

Many thanks.
Ah, the Shaun paint scene. Brings back memories when I first found it back in 1998. I found Blaine-era paint scenes my personal WAM favorites because they played out like well-coordinated stripteases while having models properly trash every article of clothing before removing them. It's unfortunate more recent paint scenes don't do a lot of that anymore.
There are in fact four paint scenes produced before Rob Blaine's death and two after. Besides the legendary Shaun paint video from "MFV1 - My Friend Shaun" and the threesome with Kassándra, Nadia & Tuesday in "MFV10 - Amanda Explains it All", he also produced "Joey & Carey's Art Project" from "MFV3 - Tales of the Wet and Messy" and "Cyberspace" from "MFV12 - Cyberspace" (a flouresant paint scene in darkness). The only post-Blaine Messyfun paint scenes are two from "SS17 - The Paint Project", which clearly lack many hallmarks of Blaine's directing. Not sure if liquid latex counts, but "MFV14 - Liquid Ladies" also features Shaun and Tiffany coating themselves in blue and black liquid latex and getting involved in pie fight and mud scenes.
Digital downloads were originally available as images and videos on the original Messyfun members site, but are (aside the The Paint Project, if I recall) absent in its Vidown site; hard copy videos featuring these scenes are harder to get hold of. I had the fortune of downloading these gems from the original members site in the mid-2000s and have them in my collection to date (And like sadblue, I'm afraid I won't be posting anything more than the freebies released in the original Messyfun website).
