Hey guys again. I have a quick question about UMD premium. The Pic archive and the Video archive, how far back to those archives go? 2 years? 3? Since the beginning? Also, I know that it is stated that MasterCard is not accepted, but would Visa work? Thanks in advance.

I'm not a UMD Premium member currently, but I used to be.

I know that the archives go way back, probably back to the last time there was a significant server move. I believe it would go back to before I was a member (I started coming here in 2005), unless the archive contracted since then.

The earliest pictures in the archive are from January of 2005. Though chronologically that is less than halfway back to the beginning of the UMD, it still amounts to over 180,000 images. I believe the video archive is a comparatively new feature, though it already contains over 6,400 videos.

Thanks guys! I was looking for a specific set of pics from a few years back. The search didn't work, so I started at page 1340 and worked backwards to page 970 and after about 4 hours of looking at over 35000 pics, I found them. I FOUND THEM! Thanks again, I am digging UMD Premium.

We are now intrigued! What was the pictures that you were looking for?

Glad you were able to find what you're looking for, and glad you're enjoying Premium. The search sort of stops working for the really old pics because the associated forum posts (which the search uses the keywords from to find the pics) are pruned after 2 years.

Note: you can browse a little faster by choosing the small thumb option. It increases the number of pics per page from 70 to 140.

And the pics were appropriate for Thanksgiving, a woman getting pied over a football bet. Here you go, may not be the holy grail, but I knew these existed from years ago and I was determined that I wasn't crazy (this was a Colts vs. Pats bet and this girl was a Pats fan):

Quick question. I know that we all have our different minute preferences for the type of girl, clothes, mess, etc. I'm interested to know what in particular made these pics so worth the search for you?

It started out as nothing. But I kept saying in the back of my mind "I know this photo set exists and I know it was good." That little ember of thought kept burning until I just had to find these. That's not to say it was a tedious search though...the Pic Arcive isn't bad to look at. As for the exact reason that these pictures came to mind, the football bet loss pie has always been a favorite of mine.

i was briefly a premium member, for the intent of scanning through the old archive as well. however, after going through it for a bit i could no longer view or open images, getting a message about the url being too long (or something of the sort, did not remember it exactly). does anybody else know anything about this? i cancelled my premium after i failed to find a solution, but if anybody knew a way around it or a fix, i'd probably renew it for a month.

I could see something like that happening with the way it was sending URLs. It appears that a new variable was being sent to the URL in the GET method (techie I know, but I'll get to the point in a min.). What would be a better would to be overwrite the current variable instead of creating a new one. HOW TO WORKAROUND IT as it stands would be, if you look at your URL it should say something like picarchive?/picarchive?/picarchive? over and over again once for each page, with a "picarchive&start=(a number)" at the end. Highlight the URL and delete all of the picarchive?/ parts except the first one for each time the URL gets too long. It works fine, I just tried it.

For example, if your URL reads:
