Seriously though, I'm not a producer, but it seems to me that any aspiring WAM producer would be best served not to think about money. Everybody's right about the amount of competition out there these days. And if you're looking to start a site and right away begin thinking about price points and how many videos you can sell in a given month, you're probably going to be disappointed in the end. In my unprofessional opinion: just do it. If you have the time, spare cash, and love of wam, do it. You'll get loyal followers (maybe even myself) soon enough.
By the way, is anybody else getting tired of these wannabe producers coming out and, instead of just shooting their vision, asking us what we want to see? "What if I do this? Do you think I should do this? Would you buy if I did this?" As a consumer, that kind of stuff really shows a lack if interest and imagination on the part of a producer. It's like opening a restaurant and putting all the onus on the diners to decide what kind of food you serve. Come up with your own ideas and write your own menu. We'll choose from that.
And for the love of god, learn to type. I could never justify giving a dollar to a guy who writes at a 1st grade level.
