Thought I would let people know a few things.

I did a few videos to see how it went down and wether it would be worth my while taking making pie videos seriously. I set a mark for sales of the videos within a certain period, and yesterday it met that milestone.

That means for the foreseeable future I am going to take it seriously and make a couple of videos each month and see where it goes. So far I have kept it sweet and simple with just single girl videos, this month I am going to up the ante. I'm in no hurry to turn a profit, so I will be building it up as quickly as I can.

Not just by throwing money at it either, I have lean red quite a bit so far and it was obvious quickly why their aren't many outright amateur pie sites - it's not just expensive to make a bunch of pies, it's also time consuming and their is a little art - it took two shoots just to get the pie crusts right so they neither just fell apart or caused danger of knocking out the girls!

One thing I really do not want is that sound of pie tins hitting the floor or distracting from the shot, I think that is just horrible.



So, to move things on as well, PieTargets has itself a little website now:

I kept it nice, clean and simple. I may add a picture galleries section, but I think that's about it for now. No plans for a membership area, that's not something I want to commit to right now - I'm trying to keep enough balls in the air right now! Of course if PieTargets.com gains serious traction I will look at that, but for now there's no plan.

That's pretty much the lay of the land right now. Thanks everyone for the support, in particular those buying the videos. It's making this happen!

Congrats! Im happy for your new site. I hope everything comes together as planned. I know you've been working hard in the U.S. to get things settled to start new projects and im sure with time like you said, pietargets will be a great success.

I feel so empowered! I just bought one of your videos last night, which means I'm one of the final people who helped push it over the edge and become a going concern.

(Of course, the rational part of my mind fully recognizes that every sale contributed equally to this result and that my "vote with cash" was really only a drop in the bucket.)

I bought the first Camilyn video, the one where she's in a red top. I loved it! I'm going to add a review to the UMD thread for that video.

...I'm sure that if you maintain the same image quality of your gunge videos things will go well for you....especially now that there's a gap left from FR's departure...

Actually, the guy before you bought every video in one hit... and you did in fact pop it over the edge. I made the site a few days ago because it was looking likely, but I wasn't sure wether I should shoot after the one I have booked soon. It's still a bit of a gamble, but not too big I think.

Glad you liked the video. I'm thinking they may be a little too short, even though the aim is to be direct and use decent mechanisms.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated. I want to here from people where I can improve within the parameters of what I am doing (Obviously I am not going to do a four girl video with all the girls wearing nothing but white socks...).



Yeah, I recognize the gap, both from Rich leaving and Anglefan doing the nasty on a model and losing a lot of respect and probably customers... I can't think of anyone doing just pie video that's near the quality I am getting so far, and to be honest I'm only using a consumer camera and low cost lighting at the moment. I arrived in the U.S with nothing but a bag of clothes and a laptop, so I'm still building from scratch. Next on the list is to bump up the lighting, then I will look at the camera - even though I am actually quite impressed at it's quality for the cost.

Anyhow, yeah. Big gap from Rich leaving, but I'm not going to emulate him... or anyone. It wouldn't be very honest - I simply come from a different culture with a different set of pop culture references, the aim is to see simply where it goes. I have ideas and aims, but keeping it loose. I'm really enjoying starting something from scratch without any pressure for it to be successful.

When you use 2 or more girls, do you plan on having a "storyline" or is it just going to be girls pie-ing one another and giggling all the way? I think Rich's best vids for example have a set up. Two girls in a restaurant. Or one girl is a cop and the other is a robber. Or one girl is a boss and the other is an employee.

Bottom line: Just two girls hitting one another for no reason has been done to death.

Oh yeah, I get that.

I'm not a huge fan of the storyline and set up. I more for the idea of competition and bets.

I'm considering running a vote the same as GungeGirls.com as one element. Gameshow's not so much until I have a better studio going - if I do game shows I want to get near a TV quality production. When I see badly done game shows - you know, a sheet as a back drop and no prize or some bullshit prize that absolutely eclipses the production values (Seriously, you can send one of the girls on a trip to the Caribbean, but you can't buy a different color bed sheet in the back ground???) I just cringe. I want to give the girls an ACTUAL reason to risking being pied.

That's why I like the lighter game, it's absolutely reasonable - we show you the cash on offer and the girls have a good chance of taking it. It will make a slightly disappointing video for everyone but her when it happens, but that's the point.

A reason I don't really like the idea of skits is because it's actually pretty hard to write a decent script, then on top of it find decent actresses. It's an opinion wether you think they both need to add up or either are important. My opinion is they do, and I'm not going to shoot anything I am not happy with.

I like the lighter game. It could be a "Pie Targets" trademark. I've never seen it used before and it would be a good low-budge pie game going for a two-girl scene. Either have a contest to see who can get the most consecutive lights OR have them alternate "Russian Roulette" style.

I think I have seen it done before on an asian based site... I have been wanting to do it since I saw "The Man from Hollywood" segment of Four Rooms, which Devo tells me is based on an episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents, itself adapted from Roald Dahl's "Man from the South".

Anyways... yes, I love the lighter game as well. It has everything you need for a good scene - it's a sound setup for a good reaction. I will definitely keep doing it!

I think we can say that you have a winner with the lighter game! Its a nice concept and pretty cool how the model gets a chance to test her skills vs. a consenquence. Excellent challange. It makes the models like you mentioned, more inclined to defeat the game to avoid the pies. In the end result... We win!

Actually, yes. I think it will be a trademark. The two lighter game videos are now selling head and shoulders above the others. I'm thinking though it would be more of a spectacle if there was another girl standing there holding the money in one hand and a pie in the other ready to lay one on her?

I don't know how if the flying pie really works for this. I will try having a (for want of a better word) host for the next one.

I think that's a great idea. Whether or not the "host" gets pied it's always much more preferable (IMHO) to have the girl be pied by someone on screen as opposed to pies flying "from the heavens." You get a more playful atmosphere (more people = more activity regardless of who gets messy) and can explore the devlish side of WAM. And if she's being pied by another girl, all the better!

Bingo. That way I should never lose $100 and not have a decent video to put out.

I'm looking out for a regular host, no idea how long it will take for the right person who is local enough to turn up. I need someone who completely gets it, is very at ease in front of the camera and can carry the video with anyone.

Oh, I made some friends in SoCal who I'd love to see in one of your vids. Alas, I'm sure they won't "get it."

I figure as you find more models for "regular" videos a natural host personality will make herself known. Either way I have total faith that this project is going to reach new unimagined heights in due time.
