Ok, so something that has bugged me for a long time is the pie sandwich and it's miss use. I wanted to ask my fellow pie fans here if they share the same pet peeve or if there is an even split of people's preference's.
In my opinion a Proper Pie Sandwich is delivered to the receiver's face, one pie to each cheek more or less. I feel that it is a huge waste when the pies are delivered to either side of the head, hitting each ear and leaving the face untouched.
Am I all alone here? Or can we just get all the community and the producers on the same page and start delivering pie sandwiches properly?
For this reason, and the fact that it introduces too much extraneous ear-mess to face mess ratio, I'd suggest it be used as the third or fourth pie in a video. The first hit should be straight on. Pie sandwiches are so messy, you might as well save them for when there's so much mess the result is barely going to be noticeable anyway.
Phoebe Rodriguez had the right idea when it came to pie sandwiches. The pies would actually be slammed at the same time from the sides meeting in the middle of the face and then they would be twisted in a circular manner to cover her face and hair, ending with both tins being left on her head.
Sorry, but I've got to respectfully disagree with all of you.
There's no right or wrong answer here, but I realize that we're all going to lean towards our own tastes in this.
I love a pie sandwich that comes from the two sides of the head. I agree that face coverage is important (most important for me), but that can be done by a straight-on pie to the face.
Years ago, back in the stone ages, I mean the '60's, there was a lot of slapstick not only in movies and TV (series) shows, but also on the many "Variety"-type shows. The pie sandwiches that I remember the most were all to the sides of the head. I particularly remember Jackie Gleason doing a sketch where he was demonstrating the "Art of Pie Throwing" to the audience (variations on this type of skit were used a lot in those days). After showing several types of straight in the face pies, he did a pie sandwich. It was to the sides of the man's head (I know, with all the beautiful women he always had on his shows, why did it have to be a man?) and caused some of the cream to squirt out and get him. He made a big deal of how that shouldn't have happened, that HE was too important to get pie on him, etc. Then the entire troupe of the June Taylor Dancers came out in a line and each pied him. Then the lady who played Trixie at that time in the "Honeymooners" sketches came out with a HUGE bowl of cream and dumped it on his head! But I digress.
I guess after seeing that type of pie sandwich so much, that's what I look for. I love pied, messy hair and I think mess in a lady's ears is sexy (no idea why, but that's really hot to me!). So a pie to the face messes up the face, and a pie sandwich messes up the hair and ears (if exposed and not covered by hair).
Partly, I think of it like this: a "sandwich" is something between two pieces of bread. A pie sandwich is a head *between* two pies. Not behind two pies slightly off center of the face.
Of course, mess is mess. I love a lot of mess, and two pies to the cheeks or sides of the face is very messy, so I love it!
But my take on this particular aspect of our kink is to the sides of the head. Anyone here think the same?

I've always LOVED that clip from Phoebe! She is gorgeous and really got messy every time! :lovestruck:
Those pies were excellent and produced a LOT of coverage for two pies!
They were really smeared around, all over her face and head!
Totally respect your opinion Norman. I do feel you are in the minority and also I feel that 9 times outta 10 when we see a producer using the "pies to the head" pie sandwich its actually an improper execution of the "pies to the face" pie sandwich. Often times the former never gets that immediate pie to the face follow up which is frustrating.
