I've realised that my ideal pie is predominantly made of cream, with a filling or topping of nicely contrasting red or yellow. Purely cream pies are also good, and 'unnaturally' coloured pies, especially blue are my least preferred. The occasional chocolate is fine with me, I guess. Is anyone else as fastidious as me or is a pie just a pie?
Definitely all-white...while artificially colored pies aren't necessarily a dealbreaker for me when considering a scene, they are a bit of a turn-off...
I'm a shaving cream pie fan. I like the plain white colour, but I have a real soft spot for yellow ones. Other colours are fine too, but yellow is best
I like colorful pies. I clearly like a lot of color, but there's something to be said about silky, gorgeous, heavy pudding pies with a ton of fluffy whipped cream. Yummy... But Jayce released a video recently with mystery substance in pie shells that was *mwah* manifique...
It all depends on the scene, but I'll always be partial to custard and cream. Dark chocolate and whipped cream being my #1 fav.
I would never actually eat it but I do love using that horrible fruit-in-a-can pie filling with cool whip for pies. I love the bright color of the fruit and the added texture. I recently used a pumpkin puree for pie filling as well. It looked gross in the can but looked rather nice on my white shirt
