For as long as I can remember I've been interested in the psychological side of WAM and really fetishes in gerneral. I'm always probing deeper and deeper into my fetish exploring what really turns me on and trying to figure out what may have led this to come to pass. Over the years I have developed an acute sense of little nuances that make a particular pic or video more appealing than another. For example, I'm definately into the humiliation aspect of WAM, so I really love it when the girl complains about having her clothes, hair and makeup ruined. Another example is that I'm also particulalry turned on by how mess is applied. Again, the reasoning seems to be that I enjoy clothing destruction so I enjoy seeing the mess being applied with a certain degree of malice (i.e. rubbed deep into fabric, using messes that will stain, using techniques to maximize nastiness, etc.) I was wondering if anyone else had similar or different "nuances" that really turn a scene for them?

Love this question. I've definitely refined my WAM sensibilities since I started surfing for the stuff *mumble* years ago. At this point solo scenes do nothing for me--first thing I eliminate when browsing for something to buy. Then I need one girl doing the actual messing for another girl. Sorry, Brits, but gunge tanks are way too mechanical and impersonal for me.

And that's another thing. I need slime that sticks--the kind where you know the girl got into a mess and not something that looks like it can be 100% cleaned off with a quick towel down. No scripts or acting either. No Academy Award nominees are walking through that door so no need to try to turn models into one.

And I haven't even gotten into clothes filling yet. Basically my WAM psychology leans toward personal (not "personal" in a sexual way), fun, and genuine. A long ways away from the time when I was thrilled to see a grainy 10-second cream-on-plate pieing over dialup.

Fortunately my "nuances" have saved me a lot of money in recent years so there's another pro to evolution.

Couldn't agree with you more about the multi-girl scenes and the type of slime. The translucent goo that is used in certain shoots just does nothing for me, not to mention the fake cum used in some other shoots. Slime/gunge should be thick, ycdtotv-style slime that covers the target and her hair and clothes.

Also agree with you regardng the gunge tank. I guess it has its place in the world of Saturday morning tv shows were celebs are slimed but for me, I perfer to see a scene where the girls are able to move around a little bit more to get the mess in every nook and cranny.

I do disagree with your thoughts on the scipt and acting, however. While you make a good point that the models are not going to be winning an Academy Award anytime soon, I do feel that some sort of a plot or setup works best for me. This is probably due to the fact that I'm a big fan of role play, so I think its great to see a tit-for-tat foodfight between a couple of girls who have a hate for each other. Scenes along the lines of what allwam produces are a good example of this. Thanks for your input, anyone else?

Hey guys, i can fully second the points of your discussion. To me the aspect of "ruining" the models styling and outfit is very important. Hair and make-up have to be nicely done along with an outfit that adds to the overall apperance. The outfit doesen't need to be explicetly "sexy" for me btw. There are productions where you can clearly see, the model has done two or threes scenes in a row, with the hair still wet from showering and make-up not redone. While it still might be a nicely executed and filmed WAM Scnee, it won't work for me.

Since my focus is on photography, acting plays a minor role for me. Still oftentimes expression adds to the overall quality of a scene. In one of my last photoshoots my models decided who was going to get gunged by playing rock-paper-scissors. Not only did it make for some good making-of shots, it also helped them to get "into" the shoot. Oh and btw. i also dig the girl-messing-a-girl-thing!

Agreed Wambert. I was thinking of one of your sets when I was making my point. The one with the girl in the white suit getting covered, excellent stuff! While I primarily look for videos with acting, I also enjoy a good still shot with the right reactions. Some of the best reactions have been caught in my favorite pics over the years while the accompanying video sometimes doesn't do it justice. BTW, I love the reaction of the seated girl in the second to last panel in the picture you posted. Looks like she is really dreading getting messy. That is the kind of reaction that I'm talking about!

Excellent topic thread. I agree with the most of what the OP has to say. Solo WAM doe nothing for me either, for me it has to be girl on girl. I avoid anything obviously solo wam, for me it has little point and no interest.
I am also into the humiliation aspect of WAM. Like the OP and others contributing to this thread, how the mess is "delivered" is very important - as you say the little nuances. I too prefer it where the recipient of the sploshing appears not to like it. It can be quite off putting for me when they do.
I also like lots of rubbing in etc as mentioned in this thread.
In tandem with all this I also love it when the girl handing the mess out appears to be relishing the opportunity to mess up the other girl, verbal taunting, showing her what she is going to mess her with etc, I like the mess to be delivered slowly and deliberately rubbed in and the recipient taunted, especially if you can see the face of the girl handing the mess out and her expression makes it obvious she is enjoying wamming the other girl.

I hate self-wamming. For me, almost by definition, WAM is something that is done to you, not that you do to yourself.

I also like the first part, where the girl goes from clean to dirty, by the 3rd sliming or pie it just feels like piling on and samey-samey and I get bored and move on.

I like public stuff, if not with an audience then at least out in the world, not in a fake looking set.

Speaking of fake, I hate hate hate skits. It's bad acting and bad writing. If you can't pull it off well, then just get to the dumping.

This is a great thread. The humiliation, dialogue and application of mess is really important for me as well. I particularly like multiple girls humiliating one. I also really enjoy girls getting messed unexpectedly in public and others showing empathy about her ruined clothes, making it more humiliating. I am not a fan of really mean humiliation but the light stuff with clothes ruining (especially shoes and socks) really turns me on.

Anybody who's ever searched for pie clips on youtube knows this already but South American game shows (you know, the ones where colleges face off against each other in Double Dare-style events) are the PERFECT example of this type of style. A lot of the time a girl will go through great lengths to taunt the girl she is about to pie: smiling, dabbing a few drops of cream on face, etc. Those little actions make up for a non-real pie being used every time.

And the most amazing thing about that is these aren't even professional WAM models working for professional WAM producers and they have it down. Meanwhile, most "professional" WAM videos neglect this detail, creating a boring emotionless by-the-numbers pieing or sliming. Fun.

You've touched on another nuance that I had completely overlooked Sillysod. I also enjoy it when the girl doing the messing is relishing the fact. It contributes to the overall humiliation aspect for me I guess.

I'm the complete opposite. If theres any hint of humiliation it ruins it. I want the girl to be up for getting messy.

For the same reason I really dislike when they wear normal clothes as they need to appear ready to get messy, meaning wearing at most a t-shirt and shorts, and barefoot. I guess this could also mean a boiler suit, but then it implies they are really reluctant.

Amazing thread. I think that's how the internet is going to evolve next. Quite right, though I disagree with one thing. I HAVE seen a few "perfect 10" scenes. The problem is I've had to pay hundreds of dollars to get them done.

But with the advent of Skype WAMming and dirt cheap customs and private sessions from models we are closer to realizing your vision. We just need to get to a place where personalized scenes are reasonably priced for the customer while also making it a financially viable business plan for producers. Even with the customers shelling 90% of the expenses custom videos (from what I've heard) are still losing propositions for most producers.

For me the sense of humiliation and shocked reaction is key.

I suspect I'm a bit unusual - and I don't mean any disrespect! - but I think you get a better reaction from a mainstream actress who 'hasn't chosen' WAM and has to perform a WAM scene - I think that is somehow really reflected in her reactions.

Don't get me wrong, commercial scenes are great but I think mainstream just adds a little extra realism to humiliation and shock especially.

 

I've seen some would-be perfect 10 scenes that were keistered by poor camera work.

Also had a few perfect 10 scenes in the spank bank that I finally just got tired of 'cause I'd seen 'em too many times. Getting old sucks.

And, yeah, there are infinite combinations of things that can boost or detract from a scene -- too many to try to even enumerate. I remember, and I basically agreed with this, some people who used to be really vocal about how if the model was visibly cold it totally killed their boner (even though most things one uses for wam are in fact inescapably cold, as the builders of heated mud pits will attest). My wam "baseline" is mud wrestling but I guess I'm fortunate that I don't have any really hardcore deal-killers or must-haves: "She MUST be Asian and her ugly sweater MUST be worn just so!" Occasionally I'll surprise myself and jerk it to a pie scene for variety. And I can never predict which new models will turn me on and which won't until I see them in action.

Messmaster is right -- it sure seems like customs are a business model on the rise. Or, at least, producers find them profitable enough to be hustling for them more aggressively. Mixed feelings about that. Always said I'd never pay custom prices for wank material but I finally did and, despite my misgivings, those two scenes have stayed "in the rotation" enough to gradually justify the expense. Also noteworthy is that both scenes were done by the same producer, who charged me $250 in 2009 and $100 this summer for essentially the same thing. And I suspect Ariel and Jilly might undercut that (hmmmm....). So again MM may be on to something, in that customs are becoming something that everyone can afford.

I don't know if I'm an odd man out on this one, but I like it, in fact I prefer when it looks like the girl is having fun. Fancy garb or whatever doesn't especially add to the effect. I dunno, it takes me out of it if she doesn't look like she's having fun.

I for one don't understand the whole total coverage thing that everyone else seems to just love. Just a little mud or other substance in the hair or face is ok but diving or complete sinking to soon it turns me off and I stop watching . Being my main wam fetish is mud I don't realy see much of non total coverage and "playful wrestling in real world outfits".
