It was frigid, but Marlicious and I kayaked out to the mile long body of water we dubbed, 'Clay Lake', and for good reason. Most of it has now evaporated, revealing acres and acres of lovely smooth clay beneath!
We hope next summer will bring less water and more mud, but we shot video of Marlicious frolicking with a swim suit on and running in the mud, but the camera died!

We even had footage of her stepping in ice, as the sun had warmed the mud reasonably well, but there was still ice on the puddles in the shade, as it had dipped to about five below freezing the night before.
Cold mud is not nearly as fun as warm though, and after wading around, we rinsed our legs in the very frigid water of the creek, then headed back.
Who says Canadians can't play in the mud in November? LOL
Now I have to save my $$$ for a new video camera!
