DungeonMasterOne said: First thing I'd suggest is make the UMD's "Black" CSS template one of the easy select options. As you know I've already got a bunch of UMD integration with Saturation Hall, but I hate how if someone who isn't already logged into the UMD clicks one of the downloads on the character profiles, when it jumps to the UMD it gets the white version. Sorry, but I really hate bright white websites, Facebook has a lot to answer for!
Only other thing I'd ask at the moment is remember that some of us like to be able to include detailed descriptions and scene-setting, so can we have a template that allows for larger amounts of text without having to click a "show more" link. Or at least if there is that kind of link, make it one that expands the text on the page the user is already on via Javascript or similar (bit like how FB do it) rather than reloading the page.
Looking forward to the new system, and appreciate your work on the UMD in general!

Excellent suggestions. I'll implement them. I already have several dark templates made up, but I will definitely make one look similar to UMD's black scheme. You also made me aware that the embeddable stores should link to the checkout page on your own virtual store, not on UMD's general checkout page. That way, your template and colors will be used. Not only that, but your customers will be able to enjoy their new purchases from a My Purchases area right on your virtual site!
As far as being able to adjust the amount of text shown before the "show more" link, that is only done on the initial listings so that 2 scene listings don't take up like 5 pages just because of long descriptions. It keeps the listings compact and more image-oriented by limiting the height of the text so that it's not taller than the corresponding thumbnail image. The listings are only meant to pique the visitor's interest and get them to want to click and, well, read more! On the Download Info pages, that's where all the complete information is meant to unfold, not on the listing pages where a bunch of different downloads have to be shown.
That said, you seem to suggest that the download listings pages could be almost like an alternative to even going to the Download Info page. After all, users can add stuff to their cart right from the listings, and expand the Show Included Files section. All you want is for that to happen with text, too, right? If so, I could think about adding that at some point. Meanwhile, you will have the option to show big, medium, or small listings, just like users have the choice to do now on UMD's store system, only you will be choosing a permanent view size for your store. The different listing sizes already have different set character limits. Small = 260, medium = 330, and large = 460 characters. It would be extremely simple for me to let you set your own character limit as well as thumbnail size, and that's something I'll program in tonight. After I fix the FTP issues
Thanks, and please hit me with any other suggestions!
