I did not see the actual event, but I did watch 20-30 minutes of the hearing earlier. I couldn't help but think, "who is that amazing Asian beauty sitting right behind Murdoch?" My interest eventually wandered, and I found out about the pieing only when I overhead a conversation while stepping out for an early lunch. I have since seen a bit of the wiping up after the fact, but I do not know if the woman in the pink jacket and blue blouse endured any of the splatter or not.

A bullet, an ax to the skull, a noose - these would have been morally acceptable.
But, a PIE to this old geezer? Puh-leeze!

Turns out this was his wife, Wendi Deng, and she IS hot (and I say that as someone who doesn't usually go for East Asian women), AND she allegedly picked up the guy's pie tin and threw it in his face after he nailed Rupert. So, naturally, she must be one of us.

Also, moving this thread to "Male Wam" seems kind of silly ... I mean, if we're talking about mainstream wam in the news, it belongs in the main forum, yes?
