Episode 5 Part 1 has just landed on www.messymayhem.com , it’s our first attempt at doing a sketch....

Karen told me after our very first shoot for the site that she used to watch Saturday morning telly when she was a kid and always wanted to be gunged because it looked really fun (true story). This got me thinking and we decided to resurrect “Jim’ll fix it” in our own style. Now for the uninitiated Jim’ll fix it was a 1980’s kids TV show, kids wrote into the now knighted Jimmy Saville (a Top of the Pops presenter now much mocked for his inability to Pronounce “Showaddywaddy”) with things they had always wanted to do. The lucky few who were picked got to do what they asked for or in other words have it “fixed for them”.

Now in our version “Jon’ll fix it” we have managed to resurrect the spirit of low budget 80’s TV (I even found the theme tune). Jon sounds very like Jim except I don’t ever remember Jimmy Saville saying “cool”. Also the way in which Karen gets her wish is more akin to the Paul Daniels magic show (another 80’s tv programme full of terrible magic tricks that were rather easy to see through). The major difference from what we’ve done to the 80’s show we’re taking the piss out of.....in our version a very hot girl ends up topless and gunged and boy does she enjoy it! This video is a bit shorter than our normal ones so accordingly we’ve dropped the price.

We're going to give it a go but only if we come up with a good idea, not going to try and do loads of stuff thats been done before. Its still going to be predominantly games with gungey endings!

This was a great idea. I love how "Jim" doesn't actually make a big deal about her being topless, as if its perfectly normal to go topless if getting messy in this alternate reality...

Glad you liked it - it wasn't scripted, we had an idea of what we'd do and just made it up as we went along.
