hi guys maddie here ive been thinking for the past month or so that there isnt really a splunch in the north east which is why i thought of haveing a splunch in leeds nothing is arranged as of yet but will be in a witherspoons pub with a meal afterwards and the date looking to be eithier the 5th/6th october so who would be interested in a yorkshire splunch ??

You can "slunch" in a corner if you want to lol! Would love to have another meet "up North" haha - them southern sissy's can't have all the fun, can they?!
Seriously though, why don't we get as much attention for the northern meets as say, Bristol and Birmingham.....do we smell or something? Maybe we need city venues to pull in the crowds....btw Warrington is just over a week away

was talking about the lack of splunch in the north east earlier this year at the bham one. only 30 mins on the bus for me so deffo count me in too :]

Unfortunately I have to say that the success of the Splunches is entirely down to the amount of work and promotion put in by the individual promoting it. Mikenomic, Nastygunge, Dazuk, they all work tirelessly to promote their meets and this is why we see so much about them.
So come on Northerners get working at it, lol. Get yourselfs a date and a venue, get a thread up and see any mod who will sticky it and then make sure everyone knows about it and fingers crossed they will be as popular as the rest

 

If I'm able I'd love to come, pick a date and sort it.

Given Leeds is the nearest major city to Saturation Hall, I think I could possibly be persuaded to come to a Leeds event!

[We've been running these at this incredibly easy-to-access and good value location for the last 6-7 years! How on earth have you missed them?]

well it would be nice to get every one up thankyou for all the interest and i am working on it so everything will be comfirmed in the next week or so am sure you guys will enjoy yourself's and lets make it a regular event

I did all the previous Leeds Splunches held by Miss Helen, if my brain is working today.

Transport is very easy. There is a travelodge hotel right next to the station, that use to have a really good chinese restaurant next door.

I'd come along, if shoot's where not on, or if we are not doing any of the live shows for sposhing, wrestling, etc.
