Just what is wrong with this country (UK) that it seems that every little thing that one tries to do either doesn't work or doesn't DO what one want's it to do? Recently we decided to change from Sky broadcasting to BT Vision. We are able to view Sky in another room courtesy of an I-Link. We gained the impression from the BT website and from discussions on the 'phone that the BT box would be able to do the same. The cost difference is significant, about £20, and for the same service which we want. So we went ahead. We now find that the 'box' doesn't 'support' a signal to another room!! Technically, the RF out is not connected to anythint within the box! We have tried an alternative, wireless method but because of the amount of metal [radiator and a kitchen sink etc] between the two antenae the signal is poor/bad.
We have told BT what they can do with their box. They say to cancel the service out-of-hand will cost us £200!!!!!

i agree and sympathise with you the uk is a wind-up, my bt box wont work in the same room without a cable,also ethernet adapters failed after one week! bt management should be gunged!!!!
